Charrisse Jackson-Jordan dropped a bomb on this week’s episode of Real Housewives of Potomac when she announced her intentions to file for divorce from absentee husband Eddie Jordan. How did she deliver the news to Eddie? Via text, of course! Friend and castmate Robyn Dixon seemed shocked to hear the news, but Charrisse claims that her marriage has been a “rollercoaster” of constant struggles for three long years.
In her blog, Charrisse claims she has not filed for divorce yet, though… and doesn’t plan to! So, what was that text all about, then? Charrisse explains, “That day I was having one of my unpleasant moments with Eddie. I was very angry with him and felt at that moment that I was done. I must admit, this is not the first and probably wont be the last time I feel that this is the absolute END. Our relationship has been a rollercoaster ride for the last three years. To date, I have not filed for divorce nor do I plan to.”

So, are we to believe that Charrisse was just having a bad day? Seems like an extreme move in response to an “unpleasant moment” with one’s husband!
“Sometimes I say and do things hoping for a positive reaction,” admits Charrisse. “There were times in my marriage where that strategy worked. Lately… not so much. But, I haven’t totally given up on my marriage as of yet. As the saying goes… It ain’t over until the fat lady sings. So far I may have heard a note, but no one is singing. At least not yet.”
Speaking of unpleasant moments, Charrisse claims attending Karen Huger’s couples’ party was pretty much the last place she wanted to be, given the circumstances of her marriage. She blogs, “Being invited to a couples party is as tacky as showing up to a housewarming party without a gift. The best scenario for me would be for me to come with a friend since I am not going to entertain the dumb BYOM rule. First of all, if someone is going to bring a man, I hope it’s theirs and no one else’s. LOL.”
But Charrisse did not clutch her pearls in fright when Ashley Darby’s husband, Michael, unzipped his pants mid-party and tried to jump ship! (Wait – was she even there when that happened!?) In any case, Charrisse chalks Michael’s behavior up to him being “a fun guy that likes to keep the the rooster patch crowing.” She claims, “Michael had no intentions of jumping in that filthy water.” I don’t know… he looked ready to go from where I sat!
Charrisse closes her blog with admiration for Ashley, who we saw interacting with her mother on this week’s RHOP. “I truly love the relationship with Ashley Darby and her mom. I see where she gets her spunk from.”
Perhaps Charrisse needs more allies in her corner, having come out of the gate so ornery this season? Whatever her reasons for staying neutral, Charrisse probably has little time to bicker with her castmates over petty drama lately considering what she’s got going on at home.
