Jon Gosselin Open to Having More Kids! Plus Kate Gosselin Ordered to Pay $10,000

Jon and Kate Gosselin have (shockingly) managed to stay out of the spotlight lately. And while their brood adds up to eight little ones, it seems Jon isn’t done doing the math yet.

Sources are reporting that Jon would like to have (even) more children with his new girlfriend Ellen Ross. While sources close to Jon confirm the news, he gave a more coy answer to In Touch magazine. “Basically, we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it,” he said, adding that marriage plans are a possibility too. Jon also stated that he is very much in love with Ellen.

Meanwhile, E Online is reporting that a judge ordered Kate to pay more than $10,000 in fees to marriage counselor Sylvia Lafair. Lafair sued Kate back in April, claiming Kate retained her services to help the Gosselins through a rough patch in 2009. Kate flew the therapist out to California to counsel the couple. Lafair sent bills for her counseling sessions and travel expenses to both Kate and Jon, but was never paid by Kate.

Kate claims that Lafair was not providing couples counseling, but instead was working solely with Jon. Kate further asserts that Jon went as far as to refuse to accompany her to California without Lafair present. The judge wasn’t buying it, and including court fees, Kate must pay $10,476 in restitution to the therapist. Sources say that Kate won’t go quietly, and will likely appeal the verdict.

Oddly enough, it seems Lafair is still working with Jon but now touting herself as his life coach. Not one to miss out on her fifteen minutes of fame an opportunity to discuss Jon’s progress in his recent relationship with Ellen, Lafair is speaking out on Jon’s behalf in a recent In Touch interview. The therapist thinks Jon is ready to add to his breadwinners family.

She believes that after the public break-up of his marriage, Jon has finally found a partner in 24-year-old Ellen. Lafair reveals, “Going through our total leadership connections program, Jon began to find himself and then he found Ellen. He is experiencing life in a much more solid way.”

Lafair explains, “It’s not about the number [of kids], but about the capacity to love and do the right thing. I think they would be wonderful parents and it would give Jon an opportunity to parent with a partner. Partner parenting is an amazing thing for kids that are able to have that in their lives.”

So more kids for Jon? It seems too early to make that call, but I do hope that the “counseling” he has received from Sylvia Lafair is worth every penny Kate is paying for it.
