I don’t think it’s a secret that Don’t Be Tardy star, Kim Zolciak, has an affinity for the finer things in life. From her wigs to her jewelry to her brand new home, Kim likes nice things. And who can blame her? But what happens when her husband, Kroy Biermann, tries to tell her enough is enough when it comes to very pricey Louis Vuitton luggage? Well, not much.
“OK so let me just say I love Louis Vuitton and I always have, from purses to shoes to luggage and more… What can I say? We have plenty of luggage, Kroy is correct in saying that, BUT we all have our own suitcases/trunks, so it wasn’t until I was packing for spring break that I realized the twins needed their own suitcase too. Shun to the rescue! She brought over exactly what I wanted (and some additional pieces she knew I would love too). I kept EVERYTHING! Work hard, play hard. I do like to treat myself, and Kroy agrees and he LOVES to spoil me too…plus my birthday was right around the corner.”
What a birthday gift! And speaking of the finer things in life, what is the deal with Kim and lottery scratch-off tickets?

Not a lot about Kim surprises me anymore, but I was shocked by the amount of lottery scratch-off tickets she purchased as the family headed to Destin, Florida — $1200 worth!
“Scratch tickets… I love to gamble, always have! In Georgia there is not a casino, so the closest thing to a slot machine is a scratch ticket! Every time we head to Destin, Kroy and I stop at the same gas station and get our scratch tickets. I am not sure how much I won this time but I think I broke even. It’s all in good fun, and I do it responsibly.”
I don’t know if buying $1200 of scratch-off tickets is considered responsible. And during a Don’t Be Tardy interview clip, Kim mentioned losing $250,000 at a casino in the Bahamas. Responsible? I think not!
On to Brielle Biermann. So Kim and Kroy take the entire family to Destin for Spring Break. Brielle is a junior in high school, with friends vacationing there for Spring Break too. As Brielle left to go to a party, Kroy mentioned something to Kim about what they do and do not know about Brielle and her social life.
“It’s hard for me with Brielle getting older to let her go, BUT I know I have to let her spread her wings and learn to fly! I am trying. This is really the first spring break where she has wanted to go hang out with her friends a lot more and not spend as much time with us. I mean she is almost 18! When Kroy and I started talking about Brielle, it was simply because I had received a text message from a parent who said as long as Brielle was going to be at this party they were letting their child go. I told Kroy how proud of Brielle I am. I of course think Brielle is perfect in every way, however am I by no means naive. Brielle has not had alcohol, and I believe her when she tells me that. What Kroy was simply trying to tell me is, we don’t know 100% because we are not with her 24/7, where as I was trying to say we know Brielle and she could never hold that back from us (especially me). We talk about everything and we have a very open relationship. Kroy and I thankfully have not had to deal with the “usual” teenage things with Brielle other than staying on her about her grades. If that is as bad as it gets, I’ll take it. She is a very focused, strong girl who has always been a leader, and for that I am proud. I have five others I hope to raise the same way.”
It seems Kim might be being naive here, but she knows her daughter better than anyone else. The main thing is that Kim believes she has an open relationship with her oldest daughter and no one can doubt that Kroy cares about her too.
