It seems like Joe Giudice should just resign himself to spending a looooong, looooong time behind bars! Besides awaiting sentencing for his federal fraud case, Joe still has not settled his case in New Jersey for identity fraud! Aaaaahhh…. the felonious Fraudices.
NorthJersey.com reports that Joe spent his day in his home away from home on Monday – a NJ courtroom – for a "status hearing" as he and lawyers attempted to iron out a last-minute plea bargain. Joe has a pre-trial date set for July 14.

On that day a plea bargain will be reached or a memorandum will be set for trial says Joe's attorney Miles Feinstein. Apparently if the state case was concluded before the federal one it would have an effect on the sentencing guidelines, which is one reason for the long delay. Joe is pleading not guilty for identity fraud and blaming his 'celebrity' for unfair treatment by the courts. <eye roll>
Under the agreement with federal prosecutors his state court charges will not be resolved until after he is sentenced for his federal ones. Joe and Teresa Giudice return to court for sentencing on July 8th, which is also the day Apollo Nida returns to court for his federal fraud case sentencing!
Real Housewives of New Jersey premieres July 13, so I guess Andy Cohen, et al have perfect timing to capitalize on all the Giudice drama and really bump ratings!
