Poor Korie Robertson was trying to bask in the bliss of opening her very own clothing boutique last week when all hell broke loose courtesy of her father-in-law, Phil Robertson.
Korie and her daughter Rebecca opened their "Duck and Dressing" boutique this month and celebrated with a grand opening bash last week. Blogger Cynthia Smoot from Oh So Cynthia attended the big event and is sharing her photos and experience with us!
Cynthia enjoyed food and fun and scoped out the goods for sale. She shared that the Robertson family came out to show their support. Among the attendees: Korie and Willie Robertson with their kids John Luc, Sadie, Rebecca and Bella. Also there: Jase and Missy Robertson and their children Reed and Mia; Alan and Lisa Robertson; as well as Jessica and Jep Robertson. Miss Kay made an appearance, but "ducked" out after just an hour.

Cynthia shared, "The tent has been decked out with holiday decor and out of an Airstream trailer was served Duck and Dressing (chili over cornbread), bread pudding, bacon-wrapped duck skewers with cream cheese and jalapenos inside (I had about 4 of these) and duck-shaped cookies. Entertainment was provided by Jase and Missy's son, Reed, and the headliner was Darius Rucker of Hootie and the Blowfish fame."
Cynthia explains that Korie and Rebecca's store is similar to Milk & Honey or Anthropologie. "I saw familiar lines like Henry & Belle and BCBG along with new names and a line of screen-printed Monroe-themed tees and sweatshirts designed by the Robertson ladies. Price points ranged form $40 to $400. A little something for everyone."
