Shaunie, who? Gloria Govan and her sister Laura Govan are moving on up in the world of reality television, and they are getting their own gig. Who needs Basketball Wives: LA? Not the Sisters Govan, that's for sure!
Gloria has been vocal about leaving the show in the past (I'd always just assumed she wasn't asked to return, which could very well be the case), and it was rumored that VH1 was none to pleased when she eloped mid-season of BBW LA with NBA player Matt Barnes and did not invite camera crews to capture the nuptials. In your face, VH1!

In a press release from the JasmineBRAND, Gloria confirms that a show is in the work for her, husband Matt (with whom she just had a second wedding with cameras present–she walked down the aisle to Tupac's "All Eyes On Me" by the way), sister Gloria, Gloria's husband Gilbert Arenas and their brood of children.
Gloria tells the site, "We’re working on a family show – me and my sister, Gilbert, Matt, all of our kids – you know, my sister has got like 18 kids. So the show would be just the Govans. I mean the Govan sisters and their husbands and their families. You know Gilbert Arenas is one of the greatest players that has played. Matt is obviously, he just came off from one of his best seasons in his entire career so we’re really excited about what that one brings."
Touting the show as portraying what it's really like to be a basketball wife, Gloria adds, "Really, we just want to show people that the real, true grind of the basketball wives and just being what it looks like to be in that life. Mainly I think it’d really just show us and our families and how much stuff we really have going on."
Tupac? Really? At least Gloria's as humble as ever!
