The Big Apple is one of Santa’s larger stops during his quick trip around the world. I imagine the cast of the Real Housewives of New York is already preparing themselves for quite the holiday haul. Each has their own unique style and I bet it could be overwhelming for Mr. Claus. Jenna Lyons could lend her eye for a once-over of the list, but I would wager Santa has been keeping a close eye on the women, especially after their recent feuds. So, who is going to make the cut when it comes to his naughty and nice list?
Brynn Whitfield and Ubah Hassan are on thin ice
Let’s start with the two women who might be the most in danger of landing on the naughty list. Brynn Whitfield has been enjoying stirring the pot with the ladies, but it has caused some massive drama. To many viewers, Brynn is the type of girl we have all known at least once in our lives. She is a smart cookie but often plays dumb in hopes of getting attention. But Season 15 is showing Brynn’s constant need to throw her buddies under the bus. I can feel Santa watching over her.
As for Ubah Hassan, she is tired of the drama, but she has a bad way of communicating it to her group of friends. The model is incapable of laughing at a prank, as viewers noted during the Pavlova/cockroach joke. Ubah was my favorite right out of the gate, but this season, she has really annoyed me. Instead of talking her issues out, she has begun to yell and be mean to people she once held dear. Ubah often jumps to conclusions and assumes the worst of her friends. I can’t imagine Santa is too thrilled with her tantrums, either. Both Brynn and Ubah are on the naughty watch list and need to shape up if they don’t want coal in their stockings.
Erin Lichy is all about mitzvahs
In Hebrew, the word mitzvah means “good deeds.” And even though Erin Lichy has rubbed a few of the Real Housewives of New York girls the wrong way, she is still doing her best to continue to do nice things for others. The newest season has shown Erin really helping her mother, who is struggling with cancer. She also just revealed she spoke with Glamour about having to have an abortion while at college. Her story resonated with many viewers who shared a similar story of their own. The real estate mogul’s courage to openly talk about a topic that is usually shunned will certainly land Erin on Hannukah Harry’s nice list.
Erin has been having a hard year. Between learning that her husband sold some Bitcoin without her permission and losing her dad, Erin needs something positive to look forward to. I hope that she wakes up on the first night of Hannukah and finds a dreidel filled with her favorite candy as she plays games with her children. If anyone deserves a peaceful holiday season, it is Erin.
The three wise RHONY women are on the nice list
Jessel Taank, Sai de Silva, and Jenna are all high on Santa’s nice list. Since Season 14, Sai has been working on revamping herself from within. She shared with Bravo viewers that she had started to go to therapy in an attempt to keep her anger at bay. Last season, she found herself in the middle of a lot of drama due to her outbursts. But this season, I feel like saying “new Sai. Who this?” Jessel is single-handedly carrying the season and can probably understand the pressure Santa is under.
The mother of twins is a saint for putting up with her husband’s constant sarcasm. Jessel can be a bit of a gossip at times but, for the most part, seems to care about her friends genuinely. And she can even take a good joke, ie, being gifted a Christmas tree outfit. Santa and I agree that she is not a “Karen” but a woman who knows what she wants. As for Ms. Jenna, she is the gift that keeps on giving. Just last week, we watched Jenna hold a tag sale for her MET clothes. Santa definitely took note of her charity work with that event.
