The Season 9 trailer of Summer House just dropped, and boy, am I thirsty for drama. As a long-time fan, I want to see some particular scenes play out. Last season showed the house united, for the most part. This February, followers will be reunited with old faces and meet some new ones. The trailer has everything: fights, crying, epic parties. And it left many of us wondering what Jesse Solomon would do.
Fans want to see Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke face off
Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke did not end things well in the Montauk houseshare. Season 8 showed Carl seemingly plotting the demise of his engagement to the PR guru. While Lindsay was no walk in the park by any means the Loverboy employee clearly struggled with unresolved issues. In the season finale, Carl prepared a chat with his still fiancée about where their life was going. What started as a simple talk ended with Carl calling off the wedding, leaving Lindsay (allegedly) blindsided.
Months later, both agreed to reenter the house. This time, Carl is single, and Lindsay is now pregnant. This has the makings of a soap opera, and I want all the tea. In the sneak peek, fans can see Lindsay is still active as she notes, “We are adding cheater to your resume.” Carl is heard telling her, “I’ll pray for you.” Lindsay replies, “I don’t need you to pray for me.” Dear Bravo Jesus, if you do nothing else, please give us the most epic fight between these two. Frankly, we deserve it.
Paige DeSorbo’s freak-out on Kyle Cooke is a must
For the most part, Paige DeSorbo has always supported Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula. Even when the wedding was questionable, she stood by her friend, making sure to give honest support. But Season 9 is showing Paige and Kyle exchanging some heated words. To be honest, the fashionista is just voicing her concerns. During Season 8, Amanda made it pretty clear that she was tired of hiding in the shadows of Kyle. But instead of supporting his wife, the now 42-year-old threw a major temper tantrum and then proclaimed his lifelong dream of being a DJ.
So, needless to say, Paige and fans have a few opinions. The clip shows Kyle talking behind Paige’s back, noting she is a “backstabber.” The East Coast native overhears and quickly turns to charge into battle. I usually like that Paige is the funny girl next door. But I definitely want to see more from her when it comes to issues with Kyle. The overgrown manchild sometimes doesn’t get put in his place as much as he needs to be. So, I am hoping Paige is the right girl for the job.
I want Craig Conover to be quiet
Now, I love a good crossover as much as the rest of them. So when Craig Conover started showing up at the Summer House, I was excited. Watching Paige and Craig’s love story play out has been a highlight. Over the last few months, rumors have spread that the duo have not been doing well. And Season 9 seems to be solidifying the gossip. In one clip, Ciara Miller notes, “It’s weird to have a boyfriend that gives hater energy. And I hate watching that shit.” The scene then cuts to dinner with the not-so-happy couple as Craig notes, “You can’t choose work all the time!”
In all her sass, Paige claps back, “Should I apologize for being strong and independent?” In this moment, Craig seems befuddled by his girlfriend’s outspokenness. The scene then cuts to Paige crying in bed “Me and Craig are going to break up, and everything I have will go away.” Firstly, we love you, Paige. Fans will still support you even without Craigy-poo by your side. Secondly, I’d like to see the couple have a real conversation. Craig clearly wants marriage, and Paige happily lives one day at a time. Let’s get to the bottom of this, shall we?
