Erika Jayne To Make Broadway Return as Roxie Hart in Chicago

Chicago seems to be the gateway musical for Bravolebrities to dabble in the performative arts on Broadway. Erika Jayne is returning to the stage as Roxie Hart after the Covid pandemic cut short her prior run.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star joins a list of fellow Real Housewives who hit the stage in Chicago. Vanderpump Rules alum Ariana Madix starred as Roxie post-Scandoval. Both Kandi Burrus and NeNe Leakes of Real Housewives of Atlanta starred as Matron Mama Morton.

Erika Jayne feels resolution with returning to the stage

People reported on Erika’s casting as Roxie Hart for a limited appearance at the Ambassador Theater in NYC. The RHOBH star will be onstage from January 20, 2025, to February 9.

Erika was locked in for a three-month contract during her first run on Broadway. She premiered onstage January 6, 2020, due to perform until March 29. However, the Covid pandemic hit and forced the theaters to close. Erika’s final performance was on March 11.

At the time, Erika paid tribute to the industry and expressed her regrets at not being able to finish the run.

“Well this is not the way I wanted to say goodbye to Roxie and my Chicago family but I have no choice,” Erika wrote. “THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone that came to the shows. I leave NYC feeling like my mission is incomplete but I will treasure this time always.”

The Bravolebrity has proved her singing chops in her own right. Erika has nine No. 1 singles under her belt. Her Billboard dance chart hits include “Pretty Mess,” “PAINKILLR,” and “How Many F—s.”

As for this season on RHOBH, Erika is taking a back seat to the drama. She’s been a solid support for both Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards as they navigate their respective separations.
