Southern Charm Cast Says Fan of Show Tricked Shep Rose

Shep Rose often prides himself on his higher education of questionable street smarts. But the Southern Charm star recently was tricked by a fan of the show. Allegedly. As Season 10 gets underway, some co-stars of the Bravo series are slamming a follower for taking advantage of the Charleston playboy. Here’s what we know.

Shep Rose fell in love with the wrong fan

During the Southern Charm premiere party, Madison LeCroy and Venita Aspen spoke with E! about the uncomfortable situation. According to the two girls, the forever bachelor seemingly fell in love too quickly and under false pretenses. Venita told the outlet, “I think it was really sad to see a fan use him because I think Shep was actually in love with her.” The influencer added “And this is the first time we see Shep in love, and she just used him.” If that weren’t heartbreaking enough the news gets even worse.

Venita noted, “It was a joke. There’s a whole TikTok of her actual boyfriend floating around on the internet. She had a boyfriend that she decided to post after we were done filming.”  The Season 10 trailer shows Shep falling hard for Sienna Evans, a former Miss Bahamas. It is unclear if this is the same ‘fan’ Venita and Madison are speaking of. But Madison did call her a “stalker” in the trailer. The blonde clarified her remarks to the outlet: “Honestly, I was told she was a stalker. But not really her, more so her grandmother. It gets weird. Her grandmother runs a fan page.”

The Charmers missed the red flags

Rodrigo Reyes and Austen Kroll also missed any red flags when they vacationed with the couple last summer at Shep’s parents’ house.  Rod recalled, “We all went down there, and we all had a great time. She was so fun. It was so nice. I felt like that was real. And then, to watch things progress a certain way, I was kind of disappointed because I had high hopes for her, and it fell. I do like her,” he added, “but I realized sometimes the fans creep in, and that ain’t it.”

Southern Charm airs on Thursdays on Bravo.
