The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast includes quite a few actresses. But few have reached the level of movie star status that Season 14 friend of Jennifer Tilly has. After all, she has an Oscar nomination, for Bullets Over Broadway. She’s received numerous accolades over her acting career, including a Saturn Award and the GLAAD Golden Gate Award. She’s also a pro poker player who made the Hall of Fame.

The December 3rd RHOBH episode is the most we’ve seen of Jennifer so far. And she’s an incredibly charming addition. From packing holy water to showing off her purse collection, to roasting Kathy Hilton’s beach games, her presence this season is a delight. Including on the After Show – her impression of Dorit Kemsley is a hoot.

This isn’t a surprise to anyone familiar with her work in film and TV. But for viewers who don’t know her acting career as well, or are stuck on where they know her from, we’re here to help. Also, viewers want more of Jennifer after her RHOBH standout performance. We’ve compiled a list of the RHOBH friend of’s most iconic performances below.

Bride of Chucky

Tiffany Valentine is probably the quintessential Jennifer Tilly role. First appearing in Bride of Chucky, Jennifer portrayed Tiffany in several movies, and most recently on the Chucky TV show. Playing Tiffany Valentine made Jennifer a legendary scream queen, and she won numerous awards for the role.

Throughout the Child’s Play franchise, Jennifer also portrays a fictional version of herself. This led to a guest appearance by her bestie Sutton Stracke on the SyFy channel show. Tiffany the doll already made a cameo on RHOBH season, with surely more to come. According to Jennifer’s Instagram, the doll was on set for the Season 14 After Show.

Director duo Lana and Lilly Wachowski are best known for creating the Matrix franchise, but their debut film might be the sisters’ best work. 1996’s Bound is a classic of the neo-noir genre and of queer cinema (and, personally speaking, one of my favorite movies). As the femme fatale Violet, Jennifer’s seductive performance channels Hollywood legends like Marilyn Monroe and Gloria Grahame. And her chemistry with Gina Gershon, who plays the protagonist Corky, is electric. The movie also co-stars Christopher Meloni and Joe Pantoliano.

For this performance, Jennifer was nominated for a Saturn Award and won Best Actress at the 1997 Fantasporto Film Festival. She and Gina Gershon were also nominated for Best Kiss at the MTV Awards. If you’ve seen this movie, you’d agree, they should’ve won!

Liar Liar

If you’re a 90s kid like me, then you’ve seen Liar Liar approximately a thousand times. The 1997 Jim Carrey flick was a cable movie staple for years. If you haven’t seen it, this comedy’s premise is that a lawyer named Fletcher becomes magically incapable of lying. Jennifer stars as Samantha Cole, and relishes the villain role. As Fletcher’s devious client, she’s the biggest hurdle for his inability to lie. Her character is a heartless gold digger- something many Real Housewives have been accused of!

Jennifer’s performance in this movie shows off her impeccable comedic timing. We’ll likely get much more of that on her debut RHOBH season. Also, Samantha’s peak 90s costumes are something you have to see to believe.

Monsters Inc.

Because of her very distinctive voice, it’s no wonder Jennifer’s acted in many animated movies and shows. In this Pixar classic, Jennifer portrayed Celia Mae, Mike Wazowski’s love interest with Medusa-esque snakes for hair. Even in voiceover mode, she had excellent chemistry with Mike’s voice actor Billy Crystal. I’m pretty sure she can have chemistry with anyone, including the ladies of RHOBH.

In 2021, she reprised her role as Celia in the Disney+ series Monsters at Work. While Monsters Inc. is the most popular animated movie in her filmography, Jennifer also voiced characters in Stuart Little and Home on the Range.

Family Guy

As she discussed on the December 3rd episode, Jennifer’s ex-husband Sam Simon is one of the creators of The Simpsons. Their divorce settlement means she earns a lot from the long-running sitcom.

And since 1999, Jennifer’s had a recurring role on another classic show of Fox’s Animation Domination lineup. She’s Bonnie Swanson, the eternally pregnant wife of Patrick Warburton’s character Joe. She’s also voiced Bonnie on spin-off The Cleveland Show and in the 2014 video game Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff.

In addition to her long-running Family Guy role, Jennifer guest starred on animated shows like SpongeBob Squarepants and Hey Arnold. She’s also one of the celebrities to play a version of themselves on The Simpsons. Jennifer appeared in the 2012 episode Gone Abie Gone. Considering she’s played herself on multiple shows, it’s kind of surprising it took this long for her to join RHOBH. But we’re glad she’s on the show now!

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays on Bravo.
