Andy Cohen Says RHOSLC Season 5 Was ‘10 Out of 10,’ Reunion Could Be ‘Supersized’

Season 4 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City was perfection. The finale, with the reveal that Monica Garcia was part of the troll account Reality Von Tease, was epic. Some fans worried that Season 5 of RHOSLC wouldn’t live up to the previous season. However, Andy Cohen had no doubts, and he doubled down on the Season 5 reunion.

Andy Cohen called the Season 5 RHOSLC reunion “outstanding”

Season 5 of RHOSLC featured the feud between Whitney Rose and Lisa Barlow. And Whitney wants some redemption and honesty, at the reunion. Plus, newbie Bronwyn Newport did her best to stir the pot and earn that snowflake.

Meanwhile, viewers also saw the heartbreaking talk between Mary Cosby and her son, Robert Cosby Jr., as he admitted his drug addiction. And yes, I did cry during that scene. Plus, Angie Katsanevas feuded with Lisa and Meredith Marks. She even criticized newbie Britani Bateman’shigh body count hair.” So, Season 5 has really delivered.

Andy discussed the season and the upcoming reunion on his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live. “Now, I always overhype stuff, and people are always [mad at me], so I’m just going to say the reunion was as great as the season it follows. And let me say, I view this season as a 10 out of 10,” Andy explained, “and I view the reunion as a 10 out of 10.” He added, “There were memorable lines, there was humor, there was big drama, there was reconciliation. There was everything.”

Andy seemed pleased with the RHOSLC reunion. “Anyway, it was just outstanding. We wrapped at 9-something p.m., which gives you a sense. It will not only be three parts, we could really do three supersized parts, frankly,” he stated. “So I don’t know, we’re going to have a lot on the cutting room floor, even with three parts.”

As for details from the reunion, which was filmed on December 5, 2024, Andy did give us a tidbit. “Don’t even want to [risk spoiling it]. I will say that when Angie K. saw that she was sitting next to me she said, ‘Wow, I went from ‘benchwarming bitch’ to first position right next to Andy.’”

However, Andy said that other cast members could easily have slid into Angie’s coveted seat. “The truth of the matter is, this was one of those rare seasons where I would argue that any of them could have been seated next to me,” Andy said.

With other franchises like The Real Housewives of New Jersey on pause, it is great to have a successful franchise to enjoy.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
