Get ready to glamp, y’all! The ladies of Married to Medicine are headed down south for a cowgirl’s retreat to hopefully rebuild their sisterhood. First, they had business to attend to in Atlanta.

Last week on Married to Medicine, we watched Quad invite everyone (except for Sweet Tea} to her super-sweet 44th birthday party. It was like her official reintroduction back into the group after nearly being exiled last season.

Of course, we all know that Quad loves theatrics, so her birthday party had plenty of them. It also served as a hard launch for her boyfriend, King. According to Quad, they’ve been going steady for over a year. Somehow, no one else in her “friend” group knew about this. That’s a major red flag, and in Married to Medicine Season 11, Episode 3, “Saddle Up, Cowgirls,” we got even more of them.

What happened in Married to Medicine Season 11, Episode 3?

This week on Married to Medicine, we got a closer look into Quad’s new relationship and learned that some of the women have been having baby fever. Meanwhile, the ladies who already have kids are trying to get theirs to start acting like adults.

Elsewhere in Atlanta, Contessa, Sweet Tea, and Phaedra planned a glamping trip to Orlando. They’re hoping that it can serve as a stepping stone for revamping all of the fractured friendships. Is that wishful thinking? Probably.

The episode kicked off with Quad in her kitchen, spraying Pam on a nonstick skillet when her boyfriend rolls up with a white Rolls-Royce for Quad. The car had a giant red bow on it like something you’d see in a Christmas commercial. Then, he made his confessional debut.

“Hi,” he plainly said while Quad gushed.

So, what’s the deal with this? Is it normal for your boyfriend of a year to show up unannounced with a half-million-dollar car for you? Is this going to be like when Vicki Gunvalson bought her daughter a car and then made her make the payments?

We’re not sure but Quad explained that this man is a “provider.” She also said that he owns a luxury car rental company, so is this a rental car or is this a gift? Did he take it back to the office after the cameras went down? We have a lot of questions about this.

Either way, Quad is smitten with this dude and she shared that she wanted to have his babies. In fact, she’s ready to start IVF in a “couple of weeks.” The real kicker? She wants twins!

In the matter of two episodes, Quad’s life has completely changed. You want to be happy for her, but it’s hard not to feel concerned about how sudden this feels.

You know that feeling when you’re watching a reality show but it suddenly feels like you’re watching bad actors trying to perform a skit? Unfortunately, that happened twice this week on M2M.

The first time came courtesy of Toya and Dr. Eugene. They brought their son into his wellness clinic and started having “the talk” with him. It got extra weird when Toya started getting giddy over her son having a wet dream. That was like an appetizer for the main course of fakery that was Dr. Simone and Cecil.

Last season, we saw them decide to rent an apartment for their two adult sons. This week, they showed up at the apartment in hazmat suits ready to clean up the living space.

Now, there’s nothing cute or funny about adults who cannot clean up after themselves. Even worse — the sons weren’t even home to help their parents “clean” the apartment. It all felt contrived.

We appreciated Cecil going the extra mile in the Season 11 premiere to help bridge the gap with Quad, but an actor he is not. Watching him and Simone pretend to be outraged at their messy sons while cleaning up their apartment felt a little ridiculous. Let’s leave the acting to the professionals.

Toya got the scoop on Apollo

We got a blast from the past this week with a special appearance from Apollo Nida. Based on what we’ve seen in the trailer, this is just the first of several pop-ups from Phaedra’s formerly incarcerated husband.

This week, Phaedra was dropping her kids off with their dad when we learned about a messy interaction Toya had with Apollo. Apparently, they ran into each other at a restaurant, and Toya immediately started grilling him about his recent extramarital affair. Was that messy, or is Toya just being Toya?

In a confessional, Toya claimed she wasn’t trying to stir the pot. She said she was just trying to get to learn more about Phaedra’s world. So, yes, she was being nosey.

“We don’t know much about her,” Toya explained in a confessional.

She’s not wrong. We don’t learn anything new about Phaedra on this show. Remember when she got cast and claimed she was dating a doctor? With her limited screen time and costars calling her out, it’s starting to feel like her stint on M2M was actually an audition for her inevitable return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Sweet Tea and Greg have baby fever

Quad and King aren’t the only people with baby fever. This week, we saw Dr. Greg and Sweeet Tea discussing their future.

To start a family, the newlyweds have an uphill battle. In Season 10, we saw Sweet Tea receive an endometriosis diagnosis. She had surgery but is still having pain. Plus, Greg’s age is adding another complicated layer. He revealed to his wife that he was only willing to try to start a family for another two years. After that, he’s closing up shop.

The two had a frank conversation about what this could mean for their future family. Dr. Greg said they need to figure out how “badly’ they want a child. Lateasha said she wanted one badly, and the fact that her twin sister was pregnant at the time probably made those feelings even stronger.

Greg said that if they want a child that badly, it might be time to start thinking about other options to make their dreams come true. Adoption? IVF? We’ll see what the future holds.

What time does the sh-t show start?

This week, the odd group of Lateasha, Contessa, and Phaedra came together to plan a cast trip. In the great tradition of reality TV cast trips, they want to create space for everyone to resolve their differences.

Simone and Quad have an issue. Heavenly has issues with Contessa and Sweet Tea. The list goes on and on, and somehow, they’re expecting a glamping trip to be the key to solving all of the problems.

As the ladies planned their trip, Phaedra said she wanted them to enter their Cowboy Carter era and go to a ranch in Orlando. Yeehaw!

Now, when you think of cowboys and ranchers, you don’t necessarily think of Orlando, Florida. Still, the three ladies sent out Western-themed invitations to the ladies to get them prepped for the trip. Can those spurs be packed on a carry-on?

Although the trip is supposed to be all about kumbaya and peacemaking, we know that’s never going to happen. The episode ended with the ladies heading out for their trip. At the airport, Simone asked the important question: “What time does the sh-t show start?

It’s a valid question because, in the preview for next week, we see that Dr. Contessa is going to ask Dr. Heavenly to “square up.” That’s definitely not how we expect two doctors to solve their differences, so we’ll see how this plays out.

Season 11 of Married to Medicine continues on Sunday nights at 9/8c on Bravo.
