James Kennedy and Ally Lebwer are (one of) my favorite couples on Vanderpump Rules. Ally gives James strength, and James supplies Ally with a home directly underneath the LAX flight path. And other things, because James and Ally are the real deal.
Sadly, VPR as we know it is over, as a whole-cast reboot just sounded. Therefore, their love story will now only continue within the privacy of their shared home. Thankfully, this lemon has proven to be a positive side-effect for their relationship, as James and Ally are now thriving sans the bright lights of filming.
Their shift on VPR has ended, but James Kennedy and Ally Lewber continue to thrive
Even the healthiest relationship has seen its fair share of hard days. But imagine trying to fall in love and stay in love while a camera is in your face. Then, picture reading all of the comments about your romance online as the avid fans of your series dissect every aspect of your partnership. I could never.
But James and Ally have. Not only have they managed to stay together despite filming on such a hotly talked about series, but they have also managed to help each other rise above their current positions in life. Ally supported James throughout his sobriety journey and reunion with his adorable dog. Meanwhile, James assisted Ally with her music career and journey into his world on Pump Rules.
But what happens when the lights go down, and the thrill of filming and the fans wears off? For James and Ally, this answer involves a whole lot of peace. While speaking with The NY Post, Ally admitted, “We’ve been the best that we’ve ever been. And I think it probably has to do with the fact that we haven’t been filming in a while.”
Ally is now “excited to just kind of let our relationship almost breathe and not have the pressure [of filming],” she stressed, adding that she is eager to start moving forward in the new year without their formally ever-present camera crews by their sides. Overall, Ally is ready to enter into an era of privacy. James and Ally can now focus on their union, not their storylines.
And we love this for them.
