Whitney Rose has repeatedly been called a liar this season on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, but could that all change at the RHOSLC Season 5 reunion? The chorus is most loudly coming from Lisa Barlow, but the PRISM jewelry designer is also at odds with Meredith Marks.
Rumors about Whitney’s jewelry line hurt her the most. And it mattered to her to get to the bottom of it all. She believed Lisa to be behind the rumors that PRISM sold pieces from Alibaba at an inflated price. The Vida Tequila owner denied any wrongdoing.
Now, the duo have had the chance to clear the air at the Season 5 reunion. And Whitney is looking for honesty.
Whitney Rose wants “to get to the bottom” of how she was treated at the RHOSLC Season 5 reunion
In a recent interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Whitney shared her plans to confront Lisa and Meredith at the reunion.
“My biggest thing that I want to address is answers to if we are truly friends,” Whitney stated.
“If we are truly friends and you advocate that you’re women supporting women, why are you treating me this way? What is the intention? I want to get to the bottom of that,” she said.
Whitney continued: “I don’t want any BS answers. I want the truth. Because clearly there’s a problem, and I want to get to that so it stops.”
The strife is affecting the veteran RHOSLC cast member, who described the experience as “sleeping with one eye open.”
Whitney spoke to The Daily Dish last month and revealed that she regrets how she handled moments of conflict. She tied it all back to trauma from her past.
“When someone starts yelling, I — because of my history and what I’ve been through — I go inward and get quiet. I don’t like yelling,” she explained.
“So it’s very hard for me to make my point when someone’s screaming in my face,” Whitney concluded. “But I feel like I’m strong enough now to know those tactics and how to stop them … So I just wish I would have done that early on in the season.”
