Wicked has become a symbol of friendship, and no franchise knows as much about friendship as the Real Housewives. While thinking about the new Wicked movie, I realized many beloved Real Housewives stars embody Glinda. These four women in particular have a lot in common with the Good Witch. From their kindness to their commitment to their friendships, these ladies embody Glinda from head to toe. Plus they all look amazing in pink!
Kandi Burruss – Real Housewives of Atlanta
Kandi Burruss had a long run on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The RHOA star was featured for 14 seasons, appearing in seasons 2 to 15. Throughout the series, Kandi formed strong bonds with her fellow RHOA cast members. Just like Glinda, Kandi always put those around her first.
In addition to her personality, Kandi has also had similar experiences as Glinda. Kandi is a singer and songwriter, just like the Good Witch. Ironically, Kandi received songwriting credits for Ariana’s hit song “Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored”. During her time on RHOA, Kandi also went through a difficult break-up. The same thing happens to Glinda in Wicked, when she loses Fiyero to Elphaba. However, both women came out on top and didn’t let the heartbreak bring them down!
Lisa Vanderpump – Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Lisa Vanderpump starred on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Seasons 1 through 9. She later went on to appear on Vanderpump Rules, which focused on the staff at her restaurants. Just like Glinda, Lisa is a strong-willed woman who works hard around the clock. To make things even better, Lisa is known for her love of pink, also Glinda’s signature color!
Like Glinda, Lisa also values friendships and cares for those around her. Throughout her years on RHOBH, Lisa was always there for her friends. Lisa brings a positive attitude to everything she’s a part of, which has always been refreshing to watch. In addition to her RHOBH buddies, Lisa was always a shoulder to cry on for her Vanderpump Rules cast as well.
Heather Dubrow – Real Housewives of Orange County
Heather Dubrow has been featured as a lead on eight seasons of The Real Housewives of Orange County. RHOC is filled with clashing personalities but Heather always manages to keep things calm. Heather isn’t one to get involved in drama and tries to keep the peace in any situation. When her fellow RHOC stars find themselves in conflict, Heather often winds up in a mediator role.
Glinda’s role in Wicked exudes positivity, something Heather is all about. Apart from personalities, Heather also has a similar physical demeanor to Glinda. Heather is always one of the best dressed in the room and stands out for her elegance and poise. While Heather might not wear Glinda’s signature color pink often, she certainly shines when she does!
Brynn Whitfield – Real Housewives of New York
Brynn Whitfield has appeared on Seasons 14 and 15 of Real Housewives of New York. After Season 13, the series did a reboot and brought in an entirely new cast. Out of the women on the cast, Brynn has been one of the most fun to watch. Brynn is the life of the party, just like Glinda often is at Shiz University in Wicked. The new RHONY star knows how to have a good time and is always upbeat.
While Brynn stands out for her positivity at times, she does cause some drama as well. This also relates to the spirit of Glinda, who was also a bit of a gossiper at first. Despite being a little problematic at times, Brynn is the star of the show on the new RHONY. She is always happy and a joy to watch during every segment that she’s in.
