Season 9 of Real Housewives of Potomac is slowly turning into the Mia Thornton show. One would have thought the major plot line would be Karen Huger’s DUI charges. After all, those are very serious allegations against The Grand Dame. However, Mia is stealing the show with stories of her rollercoaster ride of a life. Both Gizelle Bryant and Wendy Osefo aren’t buying what Mia is selling. The two recently called Mia out for her tall tales; however, Mia clapped back that their accusations aren’t true.
Wendy Osefo and Gizelle Bryant call Mia Thornton a “liar”
It started over some of Mia’s social media posts. Gizelle didn’t understand why one minute Mia told the group Gordon Thornton fought with her and Incognito, and then the next she was posting photos of them all having fun together. Mia also said things with Inc were on pause, but then she brought him to Wendy’s party. Oop.
These situations led Gizelle and Wendy to believe Mia isn’t being so truthful. Gizelle said, “There’s a whole lot of lies with Mia. And it’s difficult to even have a conversation with someone that you know won’t stop lying.”
Wendy then spilled the tea with Mia two feet away from her on the red carpet. She said, “We all know Mia is a liar. Mia’s been a liar since she came on the show.” Somewhere Jacqueline Blake is furiously building a case in Mia’s defense.
She continued, “I know Mia lies; she embellishes the truth.” Wendy pointed to Mia and said, “If you ask her her age right now, Mia won’t know.” She joked, “That’s our liar.” Wendy also called out Mia for lying in the midseason trailer. Eesh!
Mia brushed it off but admitted she would need more friends as backup. She said, “It’s getting to a point now where I’m like, you know what, I’m going to start inviting more friends to the table so they can vouch for me.” Jacqueline is not going to like that.
Mia concluded, “I don’t have a reason to lie about anything. Like I’m very authentic, very true … I’m gonna give it to you.” True or not, Mia definitely lays it all out on the table.
