When fans first learned of Dorinda Medley and Margaret Josephs teaming up for a live show, the news warmed our hearts. Their show, Blonde Ambition, was staged as a fun mix of Q&A, cabaret, and life antidotes. Naturally, these two strong-minded blondes were convinced they could dethrone Luann de Lesseps from her cabaret pedestal. Sadly, that wasn’t how the low-fat cookie crumbled for the duo. Fans recently learned that their shows in New York had been canceled, and the tour never really got off the ground.
Margaret Josephs claims she was just fighting with a friend
The feud between Dorinda and Marge started during their appearance on the Jeff Lewis podcast. The tiff escalated after Margaret seemingly interrupted Dorinda, which left the Bluestone Manor hostess peeved, to say the least. During a commercial break, audio caught the women bickering. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star accused Dorinda of yelling at Dave Quinn during a show about his inability to engage the crowd. Dorinda tore Marge a new one as she quipped, “Just do me a favor. Don’t speak for me. Don’t speak for me.” The Macbeth Collection owner tried to sass back. But Dorinda was on a mission to silence her. D told Marge, “I said, ‘Don’t speak for me.’ You said, ‘Dorinda said she doesn’t like him,’ and I responded back to him. You said it first.”
Now that the smoke has cleared, Marge is trying to set the record straight about the show’s cancellation. Further, after a massive response from fans, Margaret wanted to clear the air. She took to her Instagram comments to write, “This is HW bickering between friends. Show was canceled because of scheduling changes and multiple events the same evening. It’s not that deep.”
