A Bat Mitzvah is an important step for young adults embracing the Jewish religion. As Meredith Marks knows, when you perform your ceremony, you become a daughter of the commandments. A Bar or Bat Mitzvah signifies that the boy or girl has entered into adulthood under Jewish law. It seems even a centuries-old tradition couldn’t keep the women of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in line. Halfway through the celebration, Angie Katsanevas learned that Meredith may be an adult, but she wasn’t above acting like a child.
It’s Meredith Marks’ party, and she’ll bounce people if she wants to
It turns out that when Meredith tells a friend, “Youuuuu can leave,” she has the security team to back it up. Honestly, the whole idea of throwing a friend out of your own Bat Mitzvah is a bit Meshuggeneh (the Yiddish word for crazy). Angie took to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show to shed some light on what really went down. The Greek goddess noted, “When Meredith called security to kick me out, my heart dropped. In front of her mother and her children and her son, who’s never around? I mean, this is embarrassing.” Angie wasn’t wrong as the scene was cringeworthy.
Angie couldn’t help but take the removal personally, especially since Mer had tried to throw her out of a gathering during Season 4. The Utah resident added, “Like, you keep trying to put me out of all your events. You’re going to recycle the material? Like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna get you this time. I’m gonna invite you.'” Even though Meredith thought Angie could have had better manners, the hair stylist felt she was a very polite guest for the most part. “I knew I needed to be mindful, be thoughtful, be kind. And she kicks me out in front of everyone? She doesn’t even have all the facts. She doesn’t even know that Britani Bateman provoked me.” Something tells me she doesn’t care, Angie, and is happy to cause a bit of drama.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesday on Bravo.
