It’s no secret that Dorit Kemsley and Garcelle Beauvais have not been on the best of terms. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmates spent an entire season at odds with no signs of slowing down.
At one particularly tense meeting, Garcelle called Dorit out for her “unconscious Karen behavior.” Dorit took that one hard and the two seemed unlikely to resolve anything between them.
While they aren’t making friendship bracelets for each other, Garcelle is now suggesting that their relationship has improved. That’s good news for fans of the pair!

In a recent interview with Deadline, Garcelle explained why she didn’t reach out to Dorit after her separation from her husband PK Kemsley was announced.
“We weren’t in a good place after we finished the reunion, so it would have felt very hypocritical,” Garcelle shared. “I felt for her, and I said so when I was interviewed on red carpets, but it would have felt hypocritical if I reached out to her, because we weren’t in a good space.”
While filming the current season of RHOBH, the actress and producer noted that she “had a few little bumps” with Dorit, “but we got to a better place.”
“It’s really hard to tell you [as] the season is new. I don’t know what’s being said, whether online [or] offline, so hopefully one day we can resolve it and be friends,” Garcelle revealed.
Garcelle expressed the same sentiment after the Season 13 reunion, where the tension between her and Dorit hit an all-time high.
“I’m sure that somewhere down the line, I think we can get to a friendship,” Garcelle said in March of this year. “But I can’t control somebody’s life. So I’m going to meet people where they’re at. If you choose to be ignorant, I’m not going to stoop to your level. But I see you, and I’ll deal with you as such.”
