Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards admitted that while she was thrilled to have older sister Kathy Hilton back on the show, she was a little scared too. And that’s not surprising considering their history with RHOBH.
Still, it seems like they are in a better place now and hopefully, Season 14 will remain drama-free, or at least fight-free, for the sisters.
Kyle Richards never wants her and Kathy Hilton to go back to a bad place amid RHOBH return
During a November interview with Housewives Recap by Access Hollywood (shoutout to those legends, they always spill the tea), Kyle talked about her fears about having Kathy on the latest season of RHOBH. She referenced what happened during Season 12 when she and Kathy had a falling out after the cast’s trip to Aspen.
Kathy ended up ditching the show when things got toxic with Kyle. Time marched inevitably forward, Kyle faced some marriage issues, the two repaired their relationship, and now Kathy is back on the show and things between the two appear better than ever.
But that didn’t stop Kyle from being a bit anxious.
“I was scared,” she admitted. “Because when she came on RHOBH last time, I thought to myself, ‘Okay, we’ve had our issues over the years. But it’s going to be different now. We’re never going to that place again.’ But then Aspen happened and everything that followed. So I was scared,” Kyle finished.
Now though, Kyle believes that she and Kathy won’t ever allow their dynamic to be that bad again. At least she’s hoping they won’t.
“Neither of us wants to go there again,” Kyle said. “So you know, knock on wood.”
Plus, Kyle also shared that Kathy has been a source of support during her separation from her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky. Kathy was always there to make her laugh when times were tough.
