Jessel Taank Delves Into Husband Pavit’s Food Influencer Career

Jessel Taank is ever the supportive wife as her husband, Pavit Randhawa, seemingly leaves the world of banking to be a full-time food influencer. And it all started with one infamous trip to Vietnam.

The Real Housewives of New York fans will recall how Pavit flew to Vietnam for a very special meal last season. Jessel gave her blessing for the trip. It validated his dreams. And inspired Pavit to go full-on influencer, green screen included.

Jessel Taank’s husband Pavit Randhawa is hoping to make a “dent in the food world”

The RHONY couple appeared on Bravo HQ recently to share what’s been going on in their lives. Naturally, the issue of having another baby came up. But Jessel revealed that she had “no updates” on whether she and Pavit would be using one of their embryos.

Pavit, however, is nursing his new career. Jessel shared, “He’s heavy into the food influencing situation.”

“[It’s going] so well,” the fashion publicist gushed. Pavit’s commitment is such that he even put some money down for the necessary tools of the trade. Jessel revealed that her husband, “bought himself a green screen” to make his videos more engaging.

“His office has a green screen and it’s so hideous to look at, but he’s very serious about it,” she said. “I think he really thinks he’s making a dent in the food world, which he probably is!”

Pavit’s Instagram bio is also influencer-ready. The RHONY husband is named as the president of the “Street Food Association of New York City.” In addition, the Bravolebrity describes himself as the “founding member” of the “Fried Chicken Committee,” and the “Chief Tasting Officer” of the “NYC Sandwich Society.”

Just to get a feeling for the kind of content that Pavit puts out, his “Top 10 Street Food Joints in NYC,” shared Birria Landia and Los Taco No. 1 as the top NYC Mexican eateries.

Mamoun’s Falafel made the list as “a staple for years.” Scarr’s Pizzeria makes “the best” NYC style pizza.

The best noodles in town come from Cheong Fun’s food cart. Chelsea Market’s Very Fresh Noodles also got a mention.

“I really think it’s one of my favorite dishes in, actually, all of New York City,” Pavit in the video, which he posted in August 2023.

The best Banh Mi sandwiches, according to Pavit, can be found at Banh Mi Saigon. All in all, it feels like Pavit’s creative dream has legs. It will be interesting to see what happens next.
