“It’s easy as the birds and the bees and the one, two, three” to be excited for the premiere of Southern Charm. Luckily, Bravo dropped the Southern Charm Season 10 trailer on Monday to keep fans satiated. Season 9 left off with Charmers at odds. The new kid on the block, JT Thomas, came in like a lion and held more than a few OGs accountable for their bad behavior (we are looking at you, Austen Kroll.) Meanwhile, Craig Conover was happily in Sewing Down South Heaven, and Madison LeCroy didn’t pick on the boys that much. So, what’s in store for the newest installment? Let’s check it out!
Craig Conover is keeping his distance from Austen Kroll and Shep Rose in the Southern Charm Season 10 trailer
The once loveable trio of misfit men have had their foundation shaken over the last few years. And it seems that our boy, Craigy, is taking note. The board-certified attorney isn’t taking any chances with his former best friends, especially after last season, which proved that Austen and Shep could be extremely messy. The 35-year-old has cut back on his drinking and is really putting all his effort into his career. But it seems that Shep Rose and Austen are still stuck in their old ways.
The 44 and 37-year-olds have been caught with their pants down and never saw this shift coming. Austen notes in the trailer, “If Craig is seen with a beer in his hand, he thinks his whole business is going down.” Shep added, “Cutting himself off from everybody is not a solution.” But Paige DeSorbo, Craig’s steady girlfriend, noted the boys are “foaming at the mouth” for a reason to say her boyfriend has changed. One thing is for sure: Craig isn’t backing down as he is heard saying, “Our friendship will never look like it used to. You can either swim, or leave!”
The new Southern Charm ladies aren’t to be messed with
The ladies of Charleston are also back, and fans will see Venita Aspen, Leva Bonaparte, Taylor Ann Green, and Madison. Patricia Altschul is back as the matriarch of this weary group, hosting her stag parties and imparting societal wisdom to the women.
As for the newbies, the trailer showed Salley Carson, who you may remember from Southern Hospitality. She was the girl who had a thing with Joe Bradley but lost his trust after kissing TJ Dinch’s roomie, Gaston. There will definitely be some crossover overlap on Season 10.
The tea gets sweeter as the trailer shows Gaston is now dating Taylor. Lord, these youngins just love to keep it all in the family when it comes to dating. We have another newbie, Molly O’Connell, who is already knee-deep in rumors. The trailer shared a scene of Molly talking to Madison, explaining that she and Craig “used to sext each other.” However, Molly covered her tracks, teasing Madison, noting, “I mean, I’m not trying to steal him from Paige or anything.” The blonde bombshell can’t help but share “I love Molly. She’s weird. But like in a good way.”
Shep Rose might finally be off the market
Shep made a solemn vow to change during the Season 9 reunion. And it turns out he kind of did.
Shep took part in an ayahuasca retreat in Costa Rica which he claims changed his outlook on his future. But Southern Charm wouldn’t be Southern Charm if the cameras didn’t pry into the cast’s intertwined relationships.
Perhaps the most shocking Easter egg from the trailer had to be that Shep might just be “in love.” So, who is the vixen that caught the playboy’s eye? It’s none other than former Miss Bahamas Sienna Evans. There is a red flag consensus amongst the group. Madison tells Ms. Pat, “She’s like, a big fan of Southern Charm,” and the 83-year-old calls her a “stalker.” However, Whitney Sudler-Smith tells Madison, “Shep is being delusional.” The 34-year-old agrees, adding, “Dude, she’s not into him!”
Needless to say, the gang is pulling out all the stops for their next season. The champagne will flow, hearts will be broken, and friendships will be tested.
