It’s nice to see Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow friends again. There is enough strife within Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast. Not just between other cast members. The duo revealed how they went about staying loyal to each other as the season progressed.
Lisa worked hard to gain Meredith’s trust again after her disastrous hot mic moment in Season Two. And Meredith also proved herself a good friend after she shut down meddling about the Vida Tequila founder from co-stars in the most recent episode.
Cast meddling is “not going to work anymore”
Lisa exclusively told Extra how “direct” communication and consistency had her back in Meredith’s good graces.
“We had a real friendship to begin with… so, I think it just needed a very hard-hitting conversation where Meredith was extremely direct with me on why she was hurt, how I hurt her, and I had the same with her and we were able to talk through it and figure out how to move forward,” Lisa shared.
Meredith added, “Also I think understanding what Lisa needed for me as a friend and what I need from Lisa as a friend.”
RHOSLC fans enjoyed seeing Lisa and Meredith in the “fun circumstances” of the early seasons. Now, Meredith feels that the likes of Whitney Rose and Angie Katsanevas are “trying to decimate our friendship.”
“We’re like, ‘Okay, we got the memo, it’s not going to work anymore, try again,’” the entrepreneur said.
To her credit, Meredith didn’t fall for Whitney and Angie’s attempts to get her upset with Lisa. The duo have moved forward and don’t want to get buried in past grievances.
“You see it in this last episode where Angie and Whitney try to convince Meredith not to like me and she shuts it down immediately,” Lisa explained.
