Real Housewives of Orange County fans knew that Alexis Bellino would bring the drama this season. She was dating and is now engaged, to Shannon Beador’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen. John just happens to be suing Shannon over money that he allegedly lent her for a facelift. Plus, John has video footage from the night of Shannon’s DUI, and it sounds damaging. Now Tamra Judge is weighing in on the negativity being directed at Alexis.
Tamra Judge says that Alexis Bellino is not “some villain”
Of course, Tamra being friends with Alexis is surprising. After Alexis apologized because her ex-husband, Jim Bellino, sued Tamra for defamation in 2018, Tamra let her negative feelings go. For now.
Tamra did a Q&A with fans on her Instagram Story. “Do you think fans are being too hard on Alexis this season?” one follower asked. “Absolutely do, but I also understand what they’re seeing right now is the reason why they’re being hard on her,” Tamra stated, “and she understands it too. I just wish the so many other things that we talked about and did were shown … and you could see a well-rounded Alexis, and where she’s coming from.” Tamra added, “So, I’m hoping there’s going to be a little bit of a shift in things to come and you’ll see Alexis for the sweet girl that she is and not some villain because she’s not.” So, Tamra believes that Alexis got the dreaded villain edit this season. That is something that Tamra is well-acquainted with.

Meanwhile, another fan had a question about Alexis. “WHEN does Alexis become tolerable?! So far she’s been annoying, thirsty, and zero story?”
“I feel really bad for her, and for you guys that are saying such horrible things about her at a time in her life where she should be celebrating,” Tamra said, referencing Alexis and John’s recent engagement.
She continued, “I get it, it’s a no-win situation no matter what, but she really didn’t do anything wrong. And it’s unfortunate that so much has been taken out of her storyline. All you’re seeing is one side of her, and she has such a big heart.”
