Netflix just announced two new docuseries, and let’s be real, that’s just a fancy word for “reality show.” The streamer just revealed that both Victoria Beckham and Gordon Ramsay have inked deals for shows. Of course, we’ve got all of the details about what to expect.
Netflix is rolling out the red carpet for two new docuseries
The news of the upcoming shows was first confirmed by Deadline. Both shows are being produced by Fulwell 73, a production company founded by James Corden.
Victoria made her Netflix debut last year in her husband’s massively popular docuseries, Beckham. Even if you didn’t watch the whole thing, you definitely saw the hilarious moment when he dragged his wife for claiming she grew up “working class.” Okay, Posh Spice.
Victoria’s new series is set to explore her career in the fashion and beauty industry. Maybe we’ll also get some insight into why the Spice Girls reunion keeps getting put on the back burner.
“The series will tell the story of Victoria’s reinvention as a Creative Director of her own brand,” Netflix said in an announcement.
Similarly, Godron’s upcoming series, Being Gordon Ramsay, will also follow his professional life. Specifically, cameras will follow him for nine months as he works to open new “culinary experiences” in London’s second tallest building, 22 Bishopsgate.
In addition to following Gordon’s business ventures, the cameras are also going to get access to his wife. We’re about to get a fresh new look into Gordon’s life as he balances his responsibilities at home and in the new restaurants. This could be a whole different Gordon from what we’ve seen on his other shows,
Netflix hasn’t confirmed premiere dates for either of the docuseries, so keep an eye out for more updates in the coming months.
