When the cast list for Season 3 of The Traitors (US) dropped in June 2024, Big Brother fans were delighted to see a couple of former houseguests on the list. Britney Haynes and Danielle Reyes will compete in the upcoming season, representing the BB community. The two competed in Big Brother: Reindeer Games in the winter of 2023, so they’ve already brushed up on their competition skills.
Danielle is often regarded as one of the best players to never win Big Brother. She’s a strategic mastermind and a fan favorite. Britney, on the other hand, is the Queen of confessionals. What she lacks in competition skills, she makes up for in social prowess, using her charm to get ahead.
Since the cast list for Season 3 was released, I’ve been thinking about other BB alums that would thrive on the show.
Here are five Big Brother stars who need to be on The Traitors:
Vanessa Rousso – Big Brother 17
Big Brother 17 star Vanessa Rousso is often regarded as one of the greatest masterminds in the show’s history. The Poker Player dominated her season. She found herself in a majority alliance at the start of the game, developing strong connections with players like Austin Matelson and Shelli Poole. She became a target halfway through the season once the houseguests realized she was the Puppeteer and they were merely her puppets. They viewed her as a threat and wanted her out. Her cover was blown but her game wasn’t over. She made it to the final three by making deals, winning competitions, and manipulating her opponents into keeping her in the game. Her trajectory in the game was a joy to watch.
I think Vanessa is a perfect fit for The Traitors, considering the series has cast other BB masterminds like Dan Gheesling and Danielle Reyes. I know, I know Dan’s performance on the show was beyond disappointing but that doesn’t mean all BB mastermind’s are doomed. I have faith that Vanessa could pull out a win.
Dr. Will Kirby – Season 2 and Season 7
There are few Big Brother players more skilled at the art of deception than Will Kirby. The Dermatologist is known for his social game and ability to outsmart his competition. He’s such an obvious choice for the competition show that it begs the question, “Why wasn’t he on last season?” His busy schedule may have been to blame. He spoke about his absence from the show in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
“I’m extremely selective with the projects I participate in because I never want to undermine my true occupational objective, which is to democratize aesthetic dermatological treatments through LaserAway,” he told the outlet.
However, he did praise the series in his interview, telling journalist Dalton Ross he was “blown away” by the first season.
“It looked like it was from a Tom Cruise movie,” he told the outlet.
I know Will is a busy man but I am still holding out hope we’ll see him on a future season.
Tiffany Mitchell – Big Brother 23
Tiffany Mitchell was the brains of The Cookout Alliance. The Michigan native hatched a genius plan to make sure her entire alliance made it to the final six. She was smart, savvy, and spotted BS from a mile away. She suffered a similar fate as Vanessa. The house caught onto what a great game she was playing and she became a target.
While she couldn’t pull out a win on Big Brother, I think she would kill it on The Traitors. She has all the tools necessary to win at her disposal. She’s a great social player and doesn’t stray away from confrontation. I would love to see her call out suspected Traitors at the roundtable. I also think she would be a great Traitor. On Big Brother, she was able to disguise her alliance from her number one ally, Claire Rehfuss, for the entire season. Tiffany for Season 4, please!
Zach Rance – Big Brother 16
I want Season 16 star Zach Rance on The Traitors merely for entertainment. The Florida native never failed to make me laugh during his time in the Big Brother house. I still find myself quoting his infamous HOH speech where he called Nicole Franzel a “fruit loop dingus” 10 years later.
I don’t know if Zach would be “good” at The Traitors but he sure would make it fun. He could give some unforgettable speeches at the roundtables and cause all kinds of chaos in the castle. We need his energy on the show. I also could see him either becoming best friends or enemies with the Real Housewives on the show. Either way, I would be entertained. The man is simply made for reality television.
He’s kept a pretty low profile since his time on BB, so who knows if he would be willing to return to unscripted programming. But I’m hoping he gets the call for Season 4.
Taylor Hale – Big Brother 24
Big Brother 24 winner Taylor Hale needs to be on Season 4 of The Traitors. The fan favorite had a difficult time on Big Brother. She was unfairly targeted and bullied during her season, which limited her ability to play a cutthroat game. She still came out victorious despite the roadblocks, taking home the $750,000 prize in the finale.
I would like to see Taylor play another competition game. She’s proven to be a great competitor. Her gameplay on Big Brother: Reindeer Games was fantastic because she wasn’t held down by a bunch of bullies who wanted to see her fail. I would like to see her compete again.
