The latest episode of Real Housewives of Dubai ended with the kind of argument that will resonate for the rest of Season 2. Unlike the charming husbands of Real Housewives of New Jersey, it doesn’t seem that the men getting involved in their women’s business is ever a good idea. And Taleen Marie is now forced to defend her husband after the RHODubai drama. The bottom line is that “he walked away.”
It all went down at Caroline Stanbury’s housewarming party. Caroline Brooks was feeling salty about Taleen’s friendship with Stanbury. The duo also had beef about Caroline’s “beggar” comment. It’s coming down to loyalty after all.
Taleen accused Caroline of “provoking and making threats”
As Taleen and Caroline started bickering, it escalated when Taleen’s husband, Rafael Khanoyan, stepped in to defend his wife. His poor choice of words in telling Caroline to “shut up” drew Lesa Milan into the conflict.
Rafael maneuvered his wife to the street, where the two ladies kept shouting at one another. Sara Al Madani ominously warned in a confessional interview that arguing in public can get you arrested in Dubai.
Now that the episode has aired, both ladies are taking to social media to argue their points. The most vocal is Taleen, who has to defend herself and her husband. She posted a message to Instagram Stories.
“I’d like to thank all the people who have reached out in defense and support of me and my husband. Anyone who knows my husband knows that he is one of the most patient, kindest, and loving people,” she wrote.
“When a bully keeps poking and poking and disrespecting your wife while also threatening her with a physical statement ‘I’m going to throw my drink in her ugly face.’ There was a lot also not shown. My husband took me out of the situation calmly. He tried to calm both me and Brooks down. Even telling her that she was his girl multiple times. She wasn’t having it and kept provoking and making threats. Yes, he told her to shut her mouth. But he walked away. We both walked away,” Taleen continued.
Finally, the RHODubai newbie condoned the situation. She concluded, “Neither my husband nor I condone verbal or physical violence.”
Caroline said Rafi “made things escalate”
Then in a post to X, Taleen made a more pointed statement denying any physical threats towards Brooks. She also questioned Lesa’s involvement. OMFG RealityTV shared screenshots to their account.
“Let’s roll the tape pls. He said to YOU to shut your mouth. There was never a physical threat to Lesa nor you! Lesa inserted herself in something that had nothing to do with her. You’re delusional. Production watched it a million times too. After your bullying and threats to get physical with me and him trying to calm the situation down! As far as the outfits, don’t worry about that girl, I’m saving it for the reunion,” the former professional singer wrote.
Caroline responded to Taleen’s statements about her alcohol consumption and doubled down on her claims that Rafael made threats.
“If I’m an ‘alcoholic’ as Taleen foolishly claimed, what is she? Don’t play with me TALEEN! Don’t and Rafi ‘sticking up for his wife’ wasn’t needed it wasn’t his business and he threatened to F m and Lesa up! That’s now defending your wife that’s a threat which made things escalate even further once we got outside. I’ve moved on from it because we held our own but he DID threaten us and I defended myself,” she posted.
“And I would never wear her ‘wardrobe’ because she doesn’t have one. She either borrows or re tags and returns her clothes (if they aren’t knockoffs),” Caroline continued, referencing Taleen’s jab about lending out her wardrobe. “I own all my clothes, shoes, bags and accessories. I want to see Taleens closet please and I want her to show one article for clothing I’ve ever worn on The Real Housewives that she’s lent or given me..I’ll wait.”
