Below Deck Med’s Chef Johnathan Shillingford Rates the Interior Team

In Chef Johnathan Shillingford’s galley, it’s always twerk time. This Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 newbie might be struggling with his charter guests, but his attitude is almost always on point. Jono is definitely interesting, and we saw this side of him emerging yet again on Watch What Happens Live, where he hysterically ranked this season’s interior team when asked.

It’s Shady Spongecake time

During Jono’s remote visit to the clubhouse, a character, The Shady Spongecake, emerged, asking Jono to rate his current interior team, starting with his favorite.

Andy Cohen laughed, as did Jono, right before he answered this messy character’s ask.

“I would say my favorite is Aesha [Scott], obviously,” Jono began. Every week, these two have twerked and worked as a team. Aesha has also been Jono’s biggest cheerleader this season on BDM, distracting him from a few negative inner monologues. Therefore, Aesha’s first pick slot shocked me zero.

Up next, Jono assigned Bri Muller as his second-place stew. “Then comes Bri,” he explained, keeping this response short.

This only leaves Elena Dubaich for his third and lowest ranking. “Unfortunately, then comes Ellie at the moment. We’ll see if that changes,” he ended.

Interesting. But if you ask me, these rankings track. Between love triangles and power-tripping accusations, Bri and Ellie are neck and neck for many of Below Deck Med’s viewers. Only time will tell how Bri and Elena fare, and how this may or may not further impact Jono’s future rankings.

Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo.
