Real Housewives of New Jersey OG, Teresa Giudice, isn’t afraid to call someone out. The entire RHONJ cast, except for Jennifer Aydin, has felt Teresa’s wrath. And her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, also caught some heat from Teresa for calling her the “c-word” during the cast’s Napa trip. But did Teresa originally claim that RHONJ producers were behind Joe’s words?
Teresa Giudice blamed editing and RHONJ producers for Joe Giudice’s Napa insults
Teresa was a guest on Carlos King’s podcast, Reality with The King. And she addressed that moment during Season 4 when Joe called her the “c-word” and his “b*tch wife” during a phone call. When Teresa approached Joe, he told her that it was a work call. Then Teresa insisted that they make love among the vines, while their co-stars were nearby, sitting down to a meal. Oh, if those vines in Napa could talk. Shudder.
Well, when Teresa watched the scene, she was “so pissed.” Teresa said, “This is the thing, you know when you’re with your partner, you know what you guys call each other. You guys call each other names. “I’m like, ‘My husband’s never called me the C-word.’ I’m like, ‘He’s never … You guys edited that in,’” she stated. “[The show’s producers were] like, ‘Teresa, no we didn’t.’”
Even Andy Cohen confirmed that Joe made those remarks on camera. “He’s like, ‘Nobody edited that in. Your husband said it,” Teresa explained. “When I watched it, I was in shock.” While Teresa “didn’t cry,” she made Joe pay for his comments by forcing him to sleep on the couch as punishment.
But Joe blamed it on the alcohol. In this case, the wine and all of the stress from his job were the culprits. However, Teresa also floated the idea that RHONJ producers allegedly caused her legal problems with Joe. How? By having her pay cash for furniture in the Season 1 premiere.
Joe Giudice still denies cheating on Teresa
There was speculation that Joe was chatting with his mistress, not a person at his place of business, during that infamous Napa phone call. But Joe denied cheating on Teresa.
Teresa even contacted two women that she suspected might be having an affair with Joe. “Both these b*tches denied it, so what was I supposed to do?” she explained. Teresa continued, “He still denies [it] till today. Do I believe him? No. I’m like, ‘Just admit it, we’re divorced now,” she added.
Teresa has happily moved on with her new husband, Luis Ruelas. Teresa and Joe amicably co-parent their four daughters, with Joe living in the Bahamas after his deportation.
