Season 14 of Real Housewives of New Jersey is rolling along, but fans aren’t excited to watch. This season is a pale version of previous seasons. While we no longer have the continuous bickering and screaming between Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, we do have fewer group scenes. Since Melissa and Teresa no longer speak, they are rarely filmed at the same event. And now that the RHONJ reunion has been canceled, it looks like Jersey will be getting a makeover. But who, if anyone, from the current cast, will return for next season?
Melissa Gorga is ready to see some changes in RHONJ
Fans were stunned to find out that the Season 14 RHONJ reunion was a non-starter. Andy Cohen reassured the masses by stating, “The finale is kind of the finale and the reunion all in one.” But Andy did admit that, most likely, there are cast changes on the horizon.
And, surprisingly, Melissa is all for it. “I agree with Bravo that there needs to be changes… I think things have gotten really toxic,” Melissa told Entertainment Tonight. “There’s two of my cast members that have played really dirty behind the scenes and it’s coming out.” She added, “It’s all coming out because it always rises to the top, it always comes out in the laundry. It’s been years, so it’s all coming forward.”
Melissa is most likely hinting at Teresa and Jennifer Aydin, who allegedly leaked RHONJ stories to the press. A fan account leaked supposed text messages between Jennifer and Gabriela, the woman who runs the account @MelissasOldNose.
As for the reunion, it sounds like something is in the works. “We are going to end up doing something. You guys will see something to kind of piece it all together,” Melissa stated. “It won’t be a full-blown reunion, but I’m sure there will be something.”
Hopefully, this non-reunion will bring some closure for RHONJ fans as we nervously wonder what Season 15 of Jersey will be like.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs every Sunday at 8/7 c on Bravo.
