The top agents from Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles are back for Season 15! And this time it’s “fresh and personal.” At least that’s what Josh Altman and his wife Heather Altman think. While there might be a lot of competition with other real estate shows, MDLLA will always be the OG. Josh and Heather explain what makes this season special, and why their series is the cream of the crop.
Heather says their show stands out because they are “real real estate agents”
After 15 seasons, you gotta keep things fresh. People reported Josh and Heather spilled the tea on the upcoming season and why they are the top dogs of the real estate world.
Josh said about the current season, “It’s always going to be fresh because it’s real and it’s the market and what we’re dealing with, but also on the personal side.” He noted both the market and friendships are going to be tested this season.
He added, “There’s going to be some turbulence. Some of our relationships that gradually got better, better, better have now gone back the other direction.” It’s always a back-and-forth between Altman and Josh Flagg, isn’t it?
And speaking of Flagg, Josh said, “It’s always kind of a moving target as far as where our friendship is. For many years, it went from bad for a while and then started to get a little better and better … So it’ll be interesting to see how this season plays out and if our roots of our friendship are strong enough to keep us going.” We are all rooting for you!
Heather also gave an update on Flagg and Tracy Tutor, who had a tumultuous relationship last season. She compared the two to the sitcom, Will and Grace. Heather joked, “Will in Will and Grace was not as needy and high-maintenance. So Tracy’s got her hands cut out with him, but they have this dysfunctional-functional relationship that works for them.”
Regarding their personal life, Heather and Josh are trying to find a healthy balance between work and family life. Josh said, “I think the key to making it work is being able to step outside of the box, outside of the crazy pressure-filled environment that we’re in nonstop, even if it’s just for a little bit.” Heather added they spend quality time as a family, which means no phones. Amen to that.
At the end of the day, this show stands out because you get to see how the deals go down. Heather noted, “We’re real real estate agents on our show … with real properties that are actually selling and transacting. Nothing against the other shows … about a Sex and the City-type vibe rather than the actual negotiations and the knowledge and experience behind the deal.” Shots fired!
Heather concluded, “And at the end of the day, you do have four superstars on the show that are well-known for being some of the biggest closers in the game. And I know that no other show has that.”
