In Season 14, Episode 8 of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa Giudice openly admitted using her castmate Jackie Goldschneider.
Teresa told Dolores Catania and Jennifer Aydin that she “need[ed]” Jackie because she “want[ed] Margaret [Josephs] to be exposed.”
After the episode aired, a fan asked Jackie if she was “hurt” by her new friend’s admission. But Jackie, who only recently was allowed to worship at the feet of Queen Teresa, claimed to understand Tre’s intentions and defended her.

After fighting with each other for years, fans of the show were surprised when Teresa and Jackie became friends in Season 14. For her part, Jackie just seemed excited to be invited into the popular girls’ club. Little did she know that she was being summoned to be the Queen’s pawn.
During a visit to Watch What Happens Live on May 30, Jackie told host Andy Cohen how she came to be one of Teresa’s minions.
“At Jen[nifer] Fessler’s birthday party, Teresa and I actually did talk for a few minutes,” Jackie told Andy. “It started out as just small talk, but I think we both left the conversation sort of feeling like, ‘That was pleasant. You know, that was nice.'”
The two continued their conversation at Jen Aydin’s dog party and realized there was “a path forward.” Jackie also told Andy that she’s “excited for people to see” how her friendship with Teresa “evolves” on the show. In addition, she claimed that she and Tre have “a really nice, beautiful friendship that has continued off-camera.”
Coincidentally, Jackie said that Tre was “the only person” she had “spoken to on the phone today.”
“We really are good friends, so I’m very glad that it happened, but I’m excited for people to see how that happened,” she concluded.
Suspicious fans want to know
A fan asked Jackie on Instagram, “How did you feel when you heard Teresa say she was just using you in last w[eek’s] show? Did it hurt you or was it expected?”
Tre had said, “Who cares about Jackie? I just need her to take down Margaret.”
Jackie made excuses for Teresa’s comments, saying it was early in their friendship and she didn’t hold it against her.
“It was at the beginning of our relationship,” Jackie said. “I knew it was strategic at first.”
