Unfortunately for Porsha Williams, the ending of her marriage to Simon Guobadia has become just as messy as the beginning of their relationship. Every day, there’s a new headline about Simon running his mouth. Whether it’s via social media or through his legal team, Simon has made it clear that he isn’t leaving this marriage without fighting tooth and nail.
Although there’s plenty to discuss with this divorce, Porsha has remained pretty quiet about the situation. However, during the recent Watch What Happens Live 15th Anniversary Special, she answered a question from Andy Cohen about the status of her divorce. Somehow, she managed to keep it classy when talking about her “very estranged” husband.
Porsha sent her well wishes
Porsha and Phaedra Parks were the first guests to appear on WWHL to celebrate Andy’s major late-night accomplishment. The two Real Housewives of Atlanta stars looked dazzling, and Porsha joked that her glittery red dress was in honor of her failed marriage.
“This is a ‘be his peace’ outfit — I named it that in the dressing room,” Porsha joked. “I’m his peace. Or his headache. Or his wreaking havoc.”
Surely, it’s a little bit of all of those things because Simon and Porsha have been at each other’s throats all year. For example, Simon argued that Porsha shouldn’t have sole access to their marital home. He threatened the RHOA producers with legal action if they filmed the show inside the house. Porsha has argued that the entire thing felt unfair. Despite the bad blood, Porsha still mustered up the heart to show some grace during WWHL.
“But I wish him well,” Porsha continued. “I honestly do.”
Meanwhile, Porsha’s lawyers are somewhere trying to get Simon to let the divorce proceed. According to court documents, his sticking point has been the prenup. Since Porsha is returning to RHOA, Simon has fought over her significant Bravo payday that was previously not accounted for in their agreement. With all of that in limbo, all she can really do is wish him the best.
