After a breakout debut on Summer House Season 8, Jesse Solomon has his fingers crossed for another round. The Bravo newbie recently shared his thoughts with Jason Tartick on his podcast, Trading Secrets. During the interview, he dished about why he’s eager for a sophomore season. Who wouldn’t want to get paid to party all summer in the Hamptons?
Season 8 of Summer House had record-breaking ratings thanks to the drama between Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard. Everyone knew their relationship would fall apart at some point in the season. We all tuned in every week to watch the train slowly come off the tracks.
However, it definitely wasn’t just the breakup that had people engaged with Summer House this year. For once, the casting team got things right by introducing the world to the handsome newbies, West Wilson and Jesse. Now, it sounds like Jesse is well aware of those positive ratings. He’s ready to level up his reality career.
Summer is coming, and Jesse wants in
“The Bravo money is not life-changing [in] your first year, but it increases over time,” Jesse explained on the podcast. “I’m a big-picture guy. I negotiate everything.”
“Now that I’m the talent, it’s good to take yourself out of the equation. I have a friend who is acting as my manager,” he continued. “She is an actual lawyer. She has my best interest at heart.”
With that said Jesse couldn’t confirm or deny if he had signed on the dotted line for next season. Instead, he teased that we would have to keep our eyes peeled for more information.
“I’m very hopeful that I will be in the Hamptons,” Jesse teased. “I will be in the Hamptons regardless of if I’m on the show, but I’m hopeful it’ll be on the show.”
Summer is just getting started, so there’s plenty of time for Jesse to make his way to the Hamptons. For now, the only thing we know about the Season 9 Summer House cast is that Danielle Olivera won’t be a part of it. She recently confirmed on Instagram that she’d be taking a break from the show. More room for Jesse.
