Andy Cohen Says RHOC Season 18 Is ‘Possibly the Best Season Yet’

With The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18’s premiere close at hand, Andy Cohen is getting excited. As an executive producer on RHOC, Andy has seen it all, and he’s got big claims about Season 18.

The ins and outs, the ups and downs, the screaming and fighting – Andy knows it all too well. Having been in the game for so long, Andy ought to know what makes good reality TV.

Of course, since he has skin in the game, he’ll promote whether it’s good or not. Ultimately, it’s up to viewers to decide for themselves. But that won’t stop Andy’s excitement at the turn of every new season.

Will RHOC Season 18 deliver? Andy Cohen thinks so…

As per Bravo, Andy recently did a For Your Consideration panel alongside Molly Shannon, hoping to secure an Emmy nomination for Watch What Happens Live. Given Molly’s status as a Bravo fan, Andy decided to surprise her by bringing out the Orange County cast.

Shannon Beador, Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter, Heather Dubrow, and Tamra Judge all came to greet the actress. Andy thanked the cast for being with them. He then told everyone, “I am knee-deep in Season 18, and I want to say, possibly the best season yet.”

He specified that it was “possibly the best season” of Orange County specifically, not Housewives in general. “I also want to say, and you ladies don’t know this. This season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, which, by the way, premieres this summer … is the one-hundredth season of the Real Housewives.”

Tamra recently celebrated the hundredth season milestone with fans on her Twitter. She expressed her disbelief that she and the die-hard fans had watched 99 seasons of TV up to this point. And, if Andy’s right, the hundredth season might truly be one for the books.

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 hits Bravo on July 11 at 9/8c.
