Jackie Goldschneider made the polarizing decision to befriend Teresa Giudice. The two Real Housewives of New Jersey co-stars were always feuding, so naturally the decision has raised a lot of questions. Both fans and co-stars alike are confused.
Jackie is being asked to explain her mindset. And she chose Watch What Happens Live as the platform to do it.
Jackie likes “moving forward”
Margaret Josephs is allegedly leading the charge to ice Jackie out of the group. She called her a disgrace at Dolores Catania’s charity football game. Both Melissa Gorga and Rachel Fuda are wary of her moves regarding Teresa.
Jackie had a sit-down with Teresa and felt the conversation was very warm and positive. So with that emotion, the RHONJ friend chose to jump ship.
Andy Cohen asked Jackie why the change of heart, especially considering that Teresa spread cheating rumors regarding her husband, Evan Goldschneider.
“She was very warm to me,” the Bravolebrity explained. “She wanted to be a friend. It was during a time when my friends were being very mean and toxic to me. I like moving forward, I think that’s what these shows are about.”
“What’s one way Teresa’s a much better friend than Marge ever was?” Andy asked in a follow-up question.
“When my son was injured, my son had a horrible injury this year, and Teresa sent a huge care package, called me all the time, checked in on me. And none of my other friends did that,” Jackie revealed.
However, her RHONJ co-star Jennifer Fessler was the other guest on WWHL and she quickly undermined Jackie’s explanation by pointing out that she also called in to ask about her son.
“You did,” Jackie acknowledged.
It seems that in the scheme of things, the mother-of-four was fixating on Marge while giving this answer. But it would have been worth mentioning Jenn’s concern as well. Jackie is losing a lot of support by choosing to back Teresa. Let’s see how the dynamic plays out this season.
