Jesse Lally Would ‘Never’ Reconcile With Michelle: ‘Never Go Backwards’

The Valley Season 1 was rife with couples hanging on by a thread. Vanderpump Rules alums Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartright announced their separation shortly before the spinoff series premiered. Michelle Lally and Jesse Lally were navigating through a lot of marital work but ultimately called it quits after production wrapped.

It was painfully obvious that the apathy Michelle had was a death knell. They separated, despite Jesse’s best efforts to change himself. And while maintaining a respectful front for the sake of their 4-year-old daughter, Isabella, the Bravolebrity would never try to reconcile with Michelle.

Jesse admitted to “not being of service to the family”

The newbie reality TV star appeared as a guest of Teddi Mellencamp and Emily Simpson for their podcast, Poppin’ Off.

They asked Jesse “If [he] had the opportunity, right now, where [he] could do anything to save [his] relationship with Michelle, would [he] do it?”

Without hesitation, the real estate professional replied, “No.”

“Nothing. Knowing what I know now and being with somebody who is so incredible, like an amazing mother … No, I would never — never go backwards. Always upwards,” he said referring to his new squeeze, Lacy Nicole.

The Valley fans will note that the former couple did not speak about their separation until the start of 2024, despite splitting months prior.

During the podcast episode, Jesse denied that Michelle chose to leave him due to his behavior.

“No, there was nothing,” he stated.

This statement, despite Michelle wanting to split as far back as October 2022. Jesse got her to stick around another year if he worked on being more “present.”

But according to Jesse, the marital issues went back as far as COVID restrictions. Isabella was born at the height of the pandemic, and the Bravolebrity was home with his wife and child. Once restrictions were lifted, he left the house solo often.

“I wasn’t really being of service to the family. I was kind of being service to business and stuff like that,” Jesse explained.
