Vanderpump Rules viewers basically need more Ann Maddox. The guest relations professional currently works at Ariana Madix’s sandwich shop, Something About Her, after working as Tom Sandoval’s assistant.
It’s a further step in the right direction, after having to clean after Sandoval’s parties and do his laundry. But there may be more exciting developments in Ann’s professional future. And that would be tied to her boss’ recent success.
Ann praised Ariana’s ability to “make the best decision for her mental health”
The breakout VPR star exclusively told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast that Ariana is currently prioritizing her needs.
“I’m so proud of her. Whatever decision she makes, she’s always going to make the best decision for her mental health and her well-being,” Ann explained.
Ann is subtly referring to speculation that Ariana may choose not to return to Vanderpump Rules in favor of better opportunities. Additionally, the Something About Her co-owner recently stated that signing up for Season 12 would “have to make sense for me.”
Ariana endured a brutal season in the wake of Sandoval’s affair with co-star Rachel Leviss. She also stood her ground regarding any contact with her ex-boyfriend and took a lot of heat from Scheana Shay and Lala Kent in the process.
Consequently, considering the success of VPR spinoff The Valley, it’s been teased that there may be another project in the works focused around Something About Her.
“Oh my God, it’s getting my hopes up. That would be so much fun, so amazing, what a dream,” Ann gushed about the potential opportunity.
“But I don’t know if that came from a kernel of truth or just, like, people hoping,” she added. “I’m hoping! That would be fun. I’m down for anything.”
It’s an interesting prospect. Ariana teaming up with her business partner, Katie Maloney, could be great television. And finally, Ann’s cheery disposition is always appreciated.
