In case you missed it, yoga instructor and noted bilinguist Hilaria Baldwin just announced her new TLC reality TV show with her husband, Alec Baldwin. But, before they sealed the deal for their show, Hilaria was in talks with Andy Cohen for a spot on Real Housewives. There could have been a world where Hilaria was a Bravolebrity.
Hilaria and the Housewives
The revelation came from Andy himself. He recently appeared on an episode of Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, and she talked about how Kyle Richards recently suggested that Hilaria would be a good fit on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Andy disagreed.
He said, “First of all, I don’t believe that Hilaria Baldwin lives in Beverly Hills. I believe she lives in New York.”
In response, Kelly mentioned how those geographical concerns never really made a difference. Does anyone on RHOBH actually live in Beverly Hills? Still, she played along with Andy’s concerns and suggested that Hilaria could also fit in on Real Housewives of New York. That’s when Andy revealed how he had already spoken to Hilaria about that idea.
“Well, we actually had a discussion with her a little while ago about that,” Andy explained.
He continued, “It was an exploratory conversation, and it didn’t go much further, but it is certainly an interesting idea.”
Indeed, it would be an interesting idea. However, Hilaria ultimately decided to take her talents to the TLC network. Their new show, The Baldwins, will focus on her chaotic life with Alec as they raise their seven children. Whether or not it will follow Alec’s involuntary manslaughter case is to be determined.
“Home is the place we love to be most,” Alec said in a teaser for the new show. “We’re inviting you into our home to experience the ups and downs, the good, the bad, the wild, and the crazy.”
Hilaria and Alec’s new show will premiere on TLC in 2025.
