Beyoncé Ariana Madix has been having one hell of a year. After discovering the news that her boyfriend of nearly 10 years, Tom Sandoval, was having a salacious affair behind her back, the Vanderpump Rules star has taken off and reached new heights.
In addition to her book, stint on Broadway (where she broke records, by the way), and being the reason for the season, Ariana has taken on a new job. She’ll be hosting the latest season of Peacock’s Love Island, which premieres on June 11, 2024.
During her chat with E! News, the reality star turned Dancing with the Stars icon said she’s looking forward to the new season. Plus, she gave a strong message to the male contestants.
Ariana has always been for the girls
“I will definitely be having these girls’ backs,” Ariana said about the new season of Love Island. “So, the boys better watch out because if they try anything. I’m watching.”
Since dealing with the aftermath of Scandoval, Ariana knows a thing or two about handling F-boys. Just ask the Toms.
“I might have to be a little shady, depending on what happens,” she said. “I will definitely be very involved.”
Aside from dealing with the drama, Ariana is eager to get on the island and kick things off with this year’s crew of singles. “I’m really looking forward to meeting all of the Islanders,” she said. “I’m super looking forward to watching everything that they’re doing. I plan on being very involved, and I’m excited to be in Fiji, obviously.”
The superstar won’t be on the island alone, though. Her boyfriend, who we saw on VPR, Daniel Wai, will join her for a few days. “I don’t know that he’s ever watched it,” she said before adding, “but he’s going to have to start watching it now.”
Stream Love Island on Peacock starting June 11.
