Season 14 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills surely won’t be lacking any drama. The show should pick up where we left off regarding Kyle Richards’ marriage to Mauricio Umansky. Plus, there’s another split rocking Rodeo Drive: Dorit and PK Kemsley’s.
The pair announced their separation in May 2024. “We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together,” they wrote in a joint statement.
Garcelle Beauvais, who beefed with Dorit last season, commented on the news during her chat with Entertainment Tonight and called it “sad.”
Garecelle feels sad for the children during this time
Garcelle, who has gone through her own rocky divorce, discussed Dorit’s split, noting times like this are challenging for families.
“I think it’s sad anytime a family breaks up. I’ve been through it,” she said. “Especially when you have little kids, nobody wants that. I just hope at the end everybody comes out OK and puts the kids first.”
The actress, who first joined RHOBH during Season 10, has discussed her divorce from Mike Nilon on the show. At the time, her twins, Jax and Jaid, were only three.
Garcelle’s bestie, Sutton Stracke, also spoke about their split, saying she was “surprised it went public.” Rumors had been floating around about their status for some time. Jeff Lewis said he knew they were living alone for a “long” time. “Long before [Erika Jayne’s comment at BravoCon]. I have a mutual friend of PK’s,” he explained. “I knew long before that he was living in a hotel. And you know it’s been going on for a long time.”
Although surprised, Sutton said she hoped they could keep things as quiet as possible. “I just want their family to be kept private, it’s a private affair I think that that’s the most important thing. It’s really hard with things like this happen especially with the children involved.”
Kyle seemed to agree, saying marital splits are “difficult enough without everybody wanting to know all the details.” However, did say she feels “bad for them.”
