After the reunion’s conclusion, Vanderpump Rules Season 11 has officially come to an end. But that doesn’t mean the drama is over just yet. Online circles are still discussing what went down between Lala Kent and Ariana Madix.
One of the reunion’s main draws was the tease that the cast would watch the finale’s ending together. But the only person who didn’t really know what went down was Ariana since she left the cameras at her back, with the rest of the cast behind her as well. So, how did Ariana respond to everything Lala had to say at the finale?
Lala thinks Ariana is ‘dictating’ Pump Rules
Ahead of the reunion, Bravo tweeted a sneak peek, featuring a conversation between Lala and Ariana. “I was livid that night,” Lala began, referencing her finale rant. “Livid. And I’m sorry if I hurt you but I stand by what I said.” Oof, ‘I’m sorry if I hurt you?’ That is not an apology. “And I probably didn’t say it the most eloquently, but … I was sobbing on a regular basis.”
Lala described her feelings in greater depth. “It was difficult because I understood where Ariana was coming from. But I was like, ‘Why does she get to dictate how this goes down when I’ve never gotten to dictate?’” Both parties were crying. When asked for her response, Ariana began, “I don’t think I’m Beyoncé. I don’t think I’m God.”
She continued, saying that she sobbed on a regular basis too, but not in front of anyone else. “I do it on my own. And, arguably, if you wanna talk in show terms, me walking away from that conversation was a lot more interesting than me sitting there and having it. Was that not a better ending to your season? To give you another season for another paycheck?”
Sheesh. Hard to argue with that one. And if Lala wants to talk about dictation, it kind of seems like Ariana’s been the only one going against the grain this season. So, who’s really dictating what?
Vanderpump Rules is streaming on Peacock.
