Say what you want about Ariana Madix on Vanderpump Rules, but what you aren’t going to do is criticize her new hosting gig on Love Island USA before even seeing an episode of it.
On Instagram, one troll learned that lesson the hard way when they decided to come for Ariana’s new Love Island job. Somehow, Ariana had time between her 15 jobs to fire back at the commenter, and she did it effortlessly.
No time for trolls
It all started when Peacock shared a teaser video of Ariana “accepting” the hosting job. In the video, she got a text in the style of the show which read, “Ariana Madix, will you host Peacock’s new Love Island USA?” Obviously, she said yes.
One grumpy fan commented on the video and said, “You are no Maya [Jama]!” It’s odd criticism considering that Maya has never hosted Love Island USA. Either way, Ariana jumped into the comments to defend herself from the troll.
She wrote, “That’s obvious dear. I could never be nor am I trying to be the queen that is Maya Jama. And guess what? It would be weird if I did. I am me and I am going to bring my best self to my dream hosting job doing what I do best: BE MYSELF. Have a good day.”
Take notes everybody because that’s how you clear a troll. Legend has it that the commenter is still recovering from getting dragged. So, let this serve as a lesson before you leave a nasty comment aimed at a celebrity. They might make an example out of you.
