Following the dramatic premiere season, the cast of Vanderpump Villa would love to have a reunion episode to discuss the season’s craziest plotlines and staff interactions.
“It would be really great to have closure,” said Villa housekeeper Grace Cottrell. “But we’ll have to wait and see.”
Meanwhile, server Priscilla Ferrari, who left the show mid-season, has more to say to her costars after getting some context. “Because we only see what we live, I didn’t see what they were saying behind my back,” she explained. “So definitely a reunion would be good for everybody to give their piece.”
Unfinished business
The show, helmed by Lisa Vanderpump, recreates Vanderpump Rules in the French countryside. Set in the luxurious Château Rosabelle, Pump Villa follows the staff as they live and work together while catering to their well-heeled guests. Priscilla, Grace, and Nikki Millman spoke to Us Weekly about the possibility of Hulu airing a reunion special.
Viewers watched the Villa’s cast live, work, and play together in a foreign country. When they weren’t at work, they had plenty of time to form new friendships, indulge in a little romance, or fire up the occasional feud with a co-worker. Even though Priscilla left due to being iced out by her passive-aggressive co-workers Marciano Brunette, Hannah Fouch, and Telly Hall, she might consider a return in the future with a different cast.
“I did have a little bit of FOMO [after leaving],” she admitted. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, they’re still there. What’s going on? I can’t wait to see it’ … At the time, [her exit] was necessary, and I don’t regret leaving at all. I feel like I’m a different person, and … I know who my friends are.”
She believes she would be better able to handle herself a second time around. “I just know how to defend myself a little bit better and protect my energy,” she explained. “Whatever these people do — talk sh*t or whatever — it is just really not about me. It’s about them.”
Staff members need to face the music
“We definitely need a reunion,” Priscilla added. “Because it was the first season, and nobody knew what they were getting themselves into. I think it’s nice to have a reunion to reflect on something that was a huge project for everyone. And it was the first of its kind in that category. So yeah, I think a reunion is definitely necessary.”
Nikki, who was Priscilla’s replacement, had nothing but praise for her experience in the Villa. “I had a great time,” she shared. “It’s reality TV. There’s drama. Some of it is editing … but it’s all true … It was an awesome experience.”
While the staff might be in favor, I think the fans would also like to see a reunion. Some of the VPV employees have some explaining to do, and I’d like to see them have to face the music.
Vanderpump Villa is now streaming on Hulu, with new episodes on Mondays.
