RHONJ’s John Fuda Wants ‘Another Baby’

Real Housewives of New Jersey husband John Fuda wants more babies. Even though he and wife Rachel Fuda already have three children (Jaiden, 17; Gianella, 3; and Giuliana, 2), he thinks there’s room for one more.

“There’s not enough hours in a day,” he said. “We’re just constantly exhausted, tired, pushing ourselves to the limit.” And he wants another baby?

“We’re going to France in two days,” he added, “Just to spend time with each other. Hopefully, this gets a lot out of our system. I want to make another baby. I need another one part of the family.”

Their marriage is in a good place

The Fudas guested on the May 1 episode of the Two Ts In A Pod podcast with Tamra Judge and Teddie Mellencamp. John and Rachel discussed whether their relationship had been negatively impacted after joining the show during Season 13, while John admitted that the show keeps them busy. They planned their trip to France just so that they could reconnect with each other.

Rachel also revealed what she appreciates the most about her husband. “I think the best part of being married is you have a companion in everything that you do,” she said. “The highs and lows.” She believes she and John “are in the [best] place than [they have] ever been.”

“I think that reality TV … either rips families apart, or you kind of realize what’s important and what matters,” she continued. “I think that’s really the way that we went.”

“You got to work together as a team,” John agreed. “That’s the one thing we do a lot. You have to go back and just make sure you take each other’s feelings [into] consideration at all times … But I think, so far, it’s been great between us.”

Why Rachel needed to adopt her stepson

In Season 13 of RHONJ, Rachel was very open about her desire to adopt John’s biological son Jaiden. The couple met eleven years ago when Rachel was 22, and John was 24. At the time, John was a single father raising his son alone before Rachel stepped in to help raise him. She was finally able to adopt him in 2022.

Before she could adopt Jaiden, they had to locate his biological mother. But John and Rachel had a tough time contacting Jaiden’s birth mother, and she didn’t respond when she was served with legal papers.

“She had 30 days … to answer from the date she was served,” Rachel explained. “She never responded, which is so sad … But I’m happy that we were able to move forward with it, and that I was able to adopt him.”

Rachel officially adopted Jaiden in November 2022. “It was a while ago, [but] we’re really excited about it,” she said.

Sadly, Jaiden didn’t “film as much with [his family] this year.”

“He wasn’t really, like, around,” Rachel said. “But he’s a 17-year-old boy with his own stuff going on. You know, there’s the girl he’s interested in and his friends, and he plays three sports. So he’s a busy kid. But he loves the show … He eats it up. He’s a little ham,” she said proudly.

Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sunday at 8/7c on Bravo.
