Congratulations are in order. Below Deck Mediterranean (and Below Deck Down Under) star Aesha Scott is engaged to her partner Scott Dobson! He got down on one knee on a beach near her hometown New Zealand, and it’s seriously the sweetest thing you’ll see all day.

Us Weekly got the exclusive on Aesha’s engagement, along with photos from the big moment. Aesha’s reaction to Scott down on one knee is so on-brand for her. It’s a picture you can almost hear.
“Homunga Bay was my dream place to get engaged, but I had no idea it was coming and was totally surprised,” Aesha said of the big moment.
Aesha and Scott have been together for four years. What’s even cuter is that they knew each other in high school and reconnected years later. It’s proof that you just never know how love is going to find you.
After going public with their romance, Scott has been incredibly supportive of Aesha and her unusual career. He’s a fellow New Zealander and runs a bar in Colorado. Obviously, yachting creates some incredible distance between them, but when they’re together, it works.
Last year on Below Deck Down Under, she revealed that the two were living in a converted ambulance. Anyone willing to do that with you is the one. She later talked about how they planned on buying a house together in New Zealand. She’s trying to put those tips to good use.
She said, “Because living in the converted ambulance has been lovely, but we would really like to poop in real toilets instead of in buckets. The next step in our relationship is flushing.”
Now that she has a ring on that finger, it looks like they’re one step closer to flushing, and a whole lot more! We can’t wait to see Aesha as a bride, and fingers crossed there will be some Below Deck alums at the wedding. Captain Jason Chambers better be getting a suit fitted right now!
