Real Housewives of Orange County star Emily Simpson has now fired off another opinion on Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright. Since news of the separation broke, everyone’s been putting their two cents forward.
And considering the story around The Valley stars continues developing, it seems that everyone has a new two cents each time. One of the latest developments in the separation story was news of a potential affair that Jax was having with his publicist.
Expectedly, Jax denied these rumors. But Emily was left unconvinced, feeling that Jax’s attention may have been shifted away from Brittany.
Emily theorizes why Jax didn’t want a second child
On the May 2 episode of Emily’s podcast, Popping Off, she shared her thoughts from watching The Valley thus far. Emily mentioned the disconnect between Jax and Brittany on the topic of a second child. Fans saw the estranged couple discuss the matter on Vanderpump Rules as well. In Emily’s mind, Jax didn’t want another child because he was ready to move on from Brittany.
“All I can think is how he is probably backed out of that because he’s with somebody else. He doesn’t want to have a second kid. Are you kidding?” Emily supposed. Given that line of thinking, Brittany also shared how “badly” she felt for Brittany. “She’s so sweet. I mean, she deserves better. So Team Brittany.”
And Emily isn’t the only one to suggest that Brittany deserves better. Scheana Shay said the exact same shortly after news of the separation. “I think she deserves better,” Scheana said. “And she deserves a partner who’s going to treat her with respect.” She further opined that the separation was “for the best.” Perhaps so. Here’s hoping Brittany comes out all right.
