It’s going to be a long, hot summer on Netflix. The streamer just revealed the cast for Perfect Match Season 2, and it’s another hodgepodge of slightly familiar faces. Nick Lachey is returning as the host, and he teased the 22 singles who will be competing for love this season. Watch the cast announcement below and get ready for a summer of love.
Meet the Perfect Match Season 2 cast
If you’re not familiar with Perfect Match, it’s a kind of a bonkers idea. Netflix brings together a bunch of their reality stars, partners them up, and makes them compete in challenges. The winners get power in the game by being able to bring new singles into the group. Each night, they have to match up with a single. If you don’t have a match, you’re kicked out of the game.
In Season 1, Dom Gabriel and Georgia Hassarati were crowned the “winners.” That didn’t work out too well because Dom is back for Season 2. Maybe he’ll have better luck this time.
Of course, the Season 2 cast has a handful of Love is Blind alums. During the Season 6 reunion, Nick and Vanessa Lachey revealed that Micah Lussier, Izzy Zapata, and Jessica Vestal were a part of the cast. It turns out that Trevor Sova from Season 6 is also a part of the Season 2 lineup.
Rounding out the cast of familiar faces is Harry Jowsey and a few other Too Hot To Handle alums. Plus, there are a few people who don’t have a background in reality TV dating, like Tolú Ekundare from The Trust and Xanthi Perdikomatis from The Circle.
They even managed to get someone from Squid Game: The Challenge on this season of Perfect Match. Clearly, Netflix really tried to draw from all corners of their reality TV universe.
The matchups and the madness start on Netflix on June 7. They’ll drop seven episodes at once, three episodes the next week, and then the finale airs on June 21.
