As if Ariana Madix didn’t have enough going on already, she’ll soon be hosting Love Island USA Season 6. Reports of Ariana’s new hosting gig dated back to March.
“This summer, I’m trading rhinestone buckles for bikinis,” Ariana told fans after the reports came out. She also referred to the news as “a bombshell.” While it was a surprise, as a longtime Love Island fan herself, Ariana was perhaps the perfect choice as the show’s new host.
Of course, even before Ariana was chosen, she appeared as a guest just months after Scandoval. Everything that went down in Vanderpump Rules Season 10 catapulted Ariana to this point.
The details on Love Island USA Season 6
On May 7, Peacock released a press statement promoting Ariana’s new position on Love Island. “Hosted by beloved TV personality Ariana Madix, season 6 of the hit cultural phenomenon LOVE ISLAND USA premieres exclusively on Peacock beginning Tuesday, June 11 at 6 pm PT/9 pm ET with new episodes six days a week.”
The press release also confirmed that “Fan favorite comedian Iain Stirling will reprise his role as the iconic narrator for the new season.” On the same day, Peacock also put out a video with Ariana. The first look saw Ariana sitting up in bed with a text, inviting her to host the reality competition.
As for details on this season, Peacock announced: “Set in Fiji, season 6 will feature a brand-new vibrant villa including a spicy Casa Amor and an unforgettable Hideaway. Islanders will face more drama than ever before with jaw-dropping revelations, brand new couples challenges, and even a few surprise guests.” And, of course, viewers would have the chance to vote.
Once again, Love Island Season 6 premieres Tuesday, June 11 on Peacock.
